iOS11 Beta 5 - Freezing

Has anyone experience their iPhone (mines a 7 128gb) freezing since getting Beta 5? This is happening primarily on the home screen and the home button becomes disabled. The only way to work around this is to restart the phone (side button & volume down).

Yes, that happened to my 6s last night. I filed a bug report.

Beta 5 has been the worst beta for me. Had to restart so many times. Blurred screen and unable to get rid of it, just one of a few issues. All reported to Apple. Hopefully beta 6 tomorrow.

Yes I am also having this issue and it is only on my iPhone 7+. My iPad pro 10.5 had not had this issue at all. However of course this is a beta so expect some issues but this is a real pain.

Same problem here on a Verizon 7 Plus. It locks up at least 2-3 times per day, requiring a reboot. The prior betas worked fine!

Have this issue constantly on my iPad mini 4 running PB4 - maybe once a day. Always happens on opening the app switcher/control centre. Becomes completely unresponsive and requires hard reset. Not happened on my 7 Plus though.

I've had no lock ups, freezes, or resprings since DP3 on my iPhone 7 or iPad Air 2. I had a few on DP3 and quite a few on DP1 and DP2. DP4 and DP5 have been very stable for me. There are bugs, but they haven't been crash-the-phone bugs for me.

Had a few freezes on iPhone SE on PB4. Fixed by the hard reset (both home & wake-sleep buttons).

No freezes on iPad Air 2 running the same beta, though.

Its happening immediately after generation of a notification.

For me it was DP4 that was the worst, freezes followed by a black screen with a rotating icon in the center. Music streamed via bluetooth would stop if you slept the phone's screen, Lots of very quirky behavior. 5 seems more stable to me.

Did anyone find a fix for this? I'm on beta 7 now and it's doing this. The weird thing is that it does it on both 7 Plus devices I own.

Not having issues on my iPad, but my 6s+ is doing it at least 2 times per day

Something that worked for me was Resetting Network Settings. Try it!

Im also having this problem on my iPhone 7 128GB running the iOS 11 GM
1. Screen freezes and i cant do anything for 20-30seconds.
2. Call begins and gets in progress but there is no sound, until i restart the phone and then redial.
3. Spotify doesnt show up on the lock screen sheet anymore after this bug happens.
4. If i press volume up or down iOS doesnt show the volume animation that it usually does.
5. Alarm goes off but there is no sound. Only vibrations

Restarting the phone fix everything but then it happens again.
