Will you be able to keep from giving it earlier?
I have never been able to bring myself to go stand in line for any product so far. But this is the girl who bought the 3GS weeks before the 4 came out because my BB was acting up so much. Booooo, Monday will be here sooner than you know it! Just think about how you don't want to go back to work on Monday, and it will feel like it comes up a lot quicker.
LOL, I gotta stop reading some of the stuff on the forum - I bet some of the "flaws" people notice are things I wouldn't unless looking for them. And now I will of course be looking for them
I managed to reserve a 64gig black 3G for tomorrow morning.
One issue though, my online order...
I had ordered n iPad2 and 3 accessories in the same order.
Ive received the 3 items and have been billed for them, as they were shipped.
The iPad2 is listed " not yet shipped" but when I try to cancel it, it says I can't.
Any advice?

just walked into sherway for blurays this evening and they have ipads 2 in stock
so picked the base model black one up

Yeah, in Toronto you have to reserve through the online reservation system after 9pm. You select a store, then an iPad model if it's available. They go REALLY fast though, I was on RIGHT at 9pm, lol. You reserve for next day pick up.
Just got home from work, my ipad has shipped!
Technically it shipped on the 9th (today), although it's only 4:42am here, the good old international date line is doing its mind-**** thing lol.

Problem fixed
I showed up at the store, and they had my reserved iPad2
I called the 1-800-MY-APPLE number, and they were able to cancel my online order.
I now have my iPad2, backing up my iPad1 and preparing to transfer to the iPad2.
Thanks guys. Now I have to find out if there are skins for this thing. Not a big fan of the smart case. Draz, you get yours Monday right?
beyondthesmile: gelaskins has a TON of nice ipad2 skins. I suggest you look there. Plus it's a toronto based company so they apparently have cheaper shipping rates when sending out the skins locally. (Still a pity that their eaton centre booth closed ) Also grats on getting your ipad2. It's still going to be a LONG wait for me. *sighs*

And as for a good skin, I would recommend Gelaskins. Toronto based and they are great quality. I have one on my iPhone 4.

My iPad has been Prepared for Shipment for 5 days now. Is anyone else seeing this? I know two people at work whose order was prepared for shipment a day later than mine but has already shipped. Apple says there is nothing wrong with the order. Anyone else?

Mine shipped
It said "prepared for shipment" on Thursday and finally changed to shipped today (Monday). I ordered on the 25th at 00:40 PDT. It's a 32G wifi black with engraving. Fedex says it will be in Montreal in 2 days. So happy!

You may find it goes from "prepared for shipment" to halfway to your house. My computer did that last year.
Changed to SHIPPED this morning at 7:09 AM PDT!!
Apple says it will arrive on April 18th but Fedex says the 13th!
