iPad 2 Event Later This Month with Release in March?

Thats why all of these other tablets fail. If its not made by a well known brand like Samsung, or Motorola or Dell, its crap and poorly made, and when it is, its either over priced or doesnt have the apps and developers to back it up.

Cant wait to see what Apple does.

Nice mockup! To be honest, it looks a little thick though. If the surface area is iPad-sized, it looks about as thick as a MacBook

I was seriously just feeling the same way. For real. I'm reading comments as if that will bring me any new information as to when I'll be getting my iPad 2. I really want my iPad 2... Huuuuuuurrrrryyyyyyy

as corny as it is to admit, i feel the same way. i just hope work helps the days/weeks go by quickly and that i can get the damned thing!

but honestly, i love this part of a new toy. waiting. as agonizing as it is is the best part i feel. once i have the thing, it's never quite as awesome as you think it'll be when you don't have it yet and it's all just a big rumor. i know it'll be totally awesome, but the waiting part you just picture how great the thing is and how perfect it'll be and how there's nothing else you want right now.

it's weird, i know it's coming, but i honestly can't picture this thing being released. i can't picture the day i get a text/twitter update from this site saying, "ipad 2 release date set for _ _." it'll be too surreal.

haha. and i know once i get the ipad 2, then the whole thing will start over again when i hear more and more rumors about the iphone 5, because i'll be probably getting that in june/july when it's released on verizon.

I feel exactly the same. All these rumours and i'm starting to believe that it will never be released! The day I have the iPad 2 in my hands....wow I can't even fathom what i'd do.

I'm also one to get the iPhone 5 this year as soon as my contract expires

Starting to wonder if this will ever happen

Been holding out for many months for a new 15" MBP, hope it gets revised and released along side the iPad update. Also hope they keep the anti-glare display and Air like SSD becomes standard on the MBP.

Fortunately I bought Apple stock many months ago with the $3000 I had set aside for the new MBP, so I'll be picking up the new iPad as well. Though, I'm gonna make myself wait a few weeks after the release, as I'm sure their stock will spike further with all the new toys that get released.

Being this patient is hard!

Can't wait. I usually skip Version 1's of Apple Products because Version 2's usually arrive cheaper, faster, better.

I don't think that the iPad 2 will be cheaper than the first.

If anything, the first version will be priced lower, and the iPad 2 will take the current price's line up.

I joined the apple camp last June with a MBP 13" really love this machine... been to India and the USA with me......

Anyhow, I so desperately want an iPad but of course there is no point buying a first gen when the 2nd gen is due to be announced soon.....

what if the ipad 2 doesn't come out until later this year, as in not in april? what if apple plans on refreshing the macbook pros in march/april, the iphone in june/july and the ipods/apple tv in september. where would the ipad 2 fall in if not for march/april?
