The numbers seem kind of irrelevant then.

I ordered mine yesterday around 12:30PM CST. Got in kind of late, hoping for the best since I ordered a 16gb wifi. :(

I ordered Sunday, since then till yesterday the status said in stock, sent to warehouse for shipment. All of a sudden I got an email that it was backordered all of a sudden. I contacted them and they say they have no idea when to expect them... Frustrating.... Not much else to do but wait I guess

WHAT? Yikes! I placed an order yesterday, assuming it would beat my 4-week-out-Apple order. Guess not. I'll sit tight a while longer but look forward to hearing more reports from others.

Try another places, you can cancel your order anytime. :)
If you order is already shipped and you got the iPad 2 already for another store is more better.
Go to eBay and you going to got extra money. :eek:

I've been pretty patient as far as the ipad 2 goes... but dang... 4 weeks? Sigh. ah well. Sounds the same as apple.com but with no taxes for me.
 
I cancelled my order from b&h and got from the local target store using the stock checker from the other thread. Right now posting from the ipad,Used the tracker and called in but cs said no stock,Glad, I still went to the store even though the CS said not in stock.

I was in the B&H store yesterday afternoon and ordered one (for store pickup, not delivery). They said they're getting a delivery in the "next few days" although they're closed all weekend from 2pm on Friday.

I got the same story yesterday, but according to ninjadex, that story changed dramatically this morning. I think B&H learned something new today (not good news). Does anyone have time to call them? I don't right now...
 
Got a 32 GB white wifi iPad today from a Sunday morning order. I placed a new order this morning for a 32 GB black 3G (AT&T) iPad. No estimate was given. I predict I'll see it in a month and a half at this rate.

I think Apple may be over estimating wait times. I placed my first order with AAFES at 6pm on the 11th and at the time the wait was 2-3 weeks and the note said shipping in early April. I just checked today and that order has shipped and will be delivered Monday. I had every intention of cancelling that order when I got my B&H one tonight... Now have to decide what I want to do, return or try to sell.
 
Looks like B&H was telling the truth after all... It's not a box of bricks!

Well I just cancelled my order and purchased one on craigslist for 200 over cost. Done with this headache !
