Placed the order 3/15 10:30am PST
looks like they're processing 3/17's already.
this looks promising.....for those who ordered the 16gb black wifi its getting closer!!!! ordered mine on the 21st.
I ordered around noon on 3/15 for 16gb wifi black, they just shipped it. Will get mine tomorrow as I live in Boston. Muwahahahahahahaha.

I ordered my black 32 gig wi fi 3/14 at 9 am.
and it is still back ordered. I wonder how come people who ordered days after still received theres =(
i wonder if there is any other hope then to just hold out i wanted to take it with me on a trip next week.

Different models have different availability/demand.....AT&T and WIFI ONLY models are more coveted than Verizon models, which is what I bought/already received.

What I don't understand is why almost all models are being shipped, but mine: 32GB black wifi only...
Ordered 3/14 at 9 a.m. (Just when they opened)... Still backordered... I should have ordered the 16 GB wifi only!!!
And... I'm also worried because I also ordered a red leather smart cover and the HD video adapter... Apparently, BH doesn't have those accesories in stock either, so I'm a bit worried that if they get a new Ipad shipment but don't have my accesories, they might give my Ipad to someone else!!!!

That seems to be the last to ship from BH. Most of the other models are shipping now, but even the most early 32/black/wfii orders are still BO. I placed mine just after 1pm on the 13th and still nothing. At the time of the order he did say they didn't have any of those.
I've also noticed across the board this model is slow to ship. Perhaps Apple was stocking up for the Intl'l launch?
It seems like the 32gb Black Wifi is the most popular to buy at B&H according to a poll in another thread. I haven't seen/heard anyone mention that theirs has shipped yet in here. It's making me a little sad.
Welcome to the world of 18 SKU's. If you are number 2 in line for model x, and they receive a shipment of 100 units but only one of those is model x then 100 people get theirs while you get none. And on top of that all 99 non model x orders may have been placed after yours.
I am on the waiting list for a black 64GB ATT model. Others who ordered on the same day as me have received theirs already while mine is still 'backordered'.

Do you think all the orders that have tracking numbers will be picked up by UPS tonight? Or are we going to have to wait another day?
I take it you don't mail order often. It takes some time for the pickup to be entered in to the system. Check late tonight or first thing tomorrow to get an accurate status from the shipping company.
Yeah the 18 SKU thing is a bit much. But what can ya do? I haven't heard of anyone of these boards getting a 64GB Wifi only yet. I know some 3G base band 64s have shipped though.
Me too! Ordered March 13, about 1:30 eastern.
Turn around depends on your shipping method. If you chose 1 or 2 day it usually goes out the same day. If you chose 3 or longer it typically goes out the day after. For example, if you call before ~2pm and order an in stock item and select 1 or 2 day shipping it will ship that day. If you chose 3+ it will ship the next day.
You should have it this week if you did 1-2 day. I chose 3 day, ($10 less) so I should in theory have it Monday or Tuesday.
same here. its close to 9:00 in NY, think they will ship? I got 2 day shipping.

Well I ordered a White 16gb ATT, I'm still backordered and I ordered the day they showed up on B&H. Has anyone seen any movement on this model????
Well if it is any consolation, I haven't seen much progress with 16 Gb wifi white model either , we are all seeing whatever we want to see I think.

My order status finally changed from 'Backordered' to 'In stock and sent to warehouse' sometime this afternoon.
Ordered a Black 64GB wifi+3G (ATT) on March 14 at 8:17 PST. I haven't seen any if at all of this model getting shipped yet so just wanted to let everyone know. Been waiting patiently which seemed like forever and of course I also placed orders at pcconnection and JR.com but those are still on backorder.
