Ipad 2 in stock @ B&H photo/video

I just checked the B&H Photo site. The order status on my 64GB wifi+3G Verizon, black ipad 2 has changed to, "Shipped UPS", with a tracking number. I still cannot believe that it took only three days to ship. It is scheduled to arrive on 03/29. Considering that this is my first Apple, equipment since the Apple //c, I had in 1985, I am anxious to see how it works. Lets hope that the product matches all of the hype.

They are off for Sabbath, so they do work today, just don't work from sun down today till tomorrow night.
I have purchased a lot of stuff from B&H, and even though I knew that they are an authorized Apple reseller, for some reason it just did not register with me to check with them for an iPad 2. But thanks to this thread I did just that a couple of days ago.
B&H was sold out when I looked a couple of days ago, and I then signed up for an email alert, thinking that I would get one in 3-4 weeks. To my surprise I received an alert email early this morning and I called about one minute after they opened. Black, 32GB, Verison, still in stock when I called and I bought it. And, typical of B&H, I just received notice of shipment a few minutes ago and it is scheduled to arrive on 3/30. Oh, a nice fellow, Alfredo, took care of me.
BTW, their website showed all the Verizon units in stock early this morning, but approximately 1 hour after their opening, all units are sold out. Moral of the story....look for an email alert first thing in a morning and call them right away.
I realize that B&H is not perfect, no business is, but they have always done right by me. It is a top-flight company. My only connection to B&H is that I am a long time satisfied customer and I freely recommend them to others.

Well, I was looking for a 32g Black Wifi since they launched. I first ordered from Apple (5 week ship date), then I found this forum, ended up ordering from J&R on 3/21, was supposed to be in on or around 3/30 according to the rep.
I have been checking obamapacman.com for Target inventory (although I thought it was not actually true status) and all of a sudden around 11am today they showed as available at the Target in Brick NJ which is only 20 miles from me, so I drove right over and bought one and then cancelled the J&R order.
I am a happy camper right now!

My iPad 2 from B&H arrived today. I ordered a 64GB White Verizon model last Friday when they got a few of those in (and canceled the 64GB Black Wi-Fi I'd had on back order since March 13th in the process). It went out via Priority Mail the same day, and made it to my APO a week later. B&H rocks... And so does this iPad!

Just finished canceling my order, I was #34 in line for the Apple iPad 2 White (AT&T) 3G + WiFi Only (ordered on 3/18/11) here at B&H and surprisingly I happened to be #32 in line this morning at my local Apple Store in Northern California to pick up the same exact model. So happy and relieved that I got it now, I can delete all my inventory searcher bookmarks now. Goodluck to everyone else that is still on the hunt and still waiting! Bump up for this model at B&H.

For anyone who's interested, I got a shipping notice from B&H Thursday (24 Mar) for the Apple Digital AV Cable. I've had that back ordered since 13 Mar. I ordered the dock on the same day (same order, in fact), but it's still on back order.
Still, nice to see they're getting some of the accessories in!

I ordered at 16gb verizon yesterday and recieved it today. Quickest shipping ever and it was free.

I figured by the time i received it that the market would have less of a demand already and people who want that model would have it by now considering all these 3rd party stores beyond the main ones partnered up with Apple originally are expecting stock in the upcoming weeks based off the current forecast of shipments everywhere.
And part of the reason for the lines and the having to search around for the people that really want one is all the people doing exactly that. I think it is great that people are making a profit on eBay, but it is no different then ticket scalpers buying up all the tickets and charging a fortune for the fans.
I could have bought 4 the other day at Target when I found the model I was looking for and sold the other 3 on ebay, but I just don't think that is fair.

Wait on buddy, the 16 GB wifi models seem to be the most popular. I have a white one in order from the 17th, and it is still back ordered.

I got off of live chat with BHphoto. I inquired and they said they are waiting on shipments. They gave me an eta of 3-4 weeks. I confirmed by asking if I could expect to receive my 32gb White ATT ipad 2 within the next week... "not likely".
I ordered on 3/14/11 @~1:00pm PST. Im in california. I'm at the point where I wouldn't mind paying the tax upfront now. So I will begin my long journey in search of the elusive ipad 2.

It could mean that your ipad is in stock, and the other part of your order such as rge smart cover is backordered. They need your instruction if you want the ipad to be shipped first. That's what happened to mine. My black 64GB wi-fi is in stock, but my blue smart cover is still backordered. I called B&H and asked them to ship the ipad first. I should get mine ipad next week
