I emailed them asking why orders that happened after mine have shipment status' and tracking numbers while I'm still at new order processing. Hopefully it all clears up tomorrow, but I'll be bummed if people who ordered after me got iPad's shipped out and I have to wait for their next incoming shipment.
 
Everyone relax. None of our orders shipped out yesterday. UPS and FedEx do not pick up on Sunday. A tracking number was generated by BH when they prepared your order for shipping. Then your package sat there at BH until some time today, when UPS or FedEx will pick them up for shipping. So if you ordered overnight you will receive it tomorrow.

How does bh get to do origin scans though?
 
When you use UPS or FedEx software to create a shipping label, it generates a tracking number, which is then in the system. That's why if you looked at the shipping date on the UPS website - the date shipped indicated Monday March 14.
 
Do they have info when will they have it in stock? This week? Or next week? I would like to order problem is that they charge card immediately.
 
Ordered this morning, they said they will fulfill the orders on a first come fist serve basis...the guy expected the order to ship this week..

When ordering via phone, can I just tell agent to get billing and shipping address from my account?
And did you receive confirmation email, and can you check status of your order online?

When I gave him my phone number my account info came up including email. However, I don't appear to have an online account with them, I think because all the previous times I have ordered from them I used Paypal and never created an account. I would assume since it's linked to your account it would be viewable when you login.

You have to give them your billing and shipping info, yes you can check the status of your order online and I did receive a confirmation email...
 
My 32GB wi-fi is showing as backordered but he said they would have them today for sure. I asked him twice. So hopefully he wasn't just saying that to get the order because I'm not real interested in a pre-order for who knows how long. If it doesn't ship by end of day I will most likely cancel. My card has been charged btw.

Interesting, he wasn't as definitive when I went in there and ordered it. Hopefully that's the case. I ordered mine in store around 9:15am.
 
Just called from the UK, even paying UK tax etc would save me up £25 roughly, if UK prices are the same as ipad 1. ipad2 $599 = £371.44 + $168 = £104. shipping/tax/duties. Total £475.
Result. :):)

Verification Department

Ok folks,

If your online order status shows "New Order Processing", you need to call the B&H Verification Department right now. The number is 1-800-622-6265.

I contacted B&H customer service chat for a question about my order and unbeknownst to me, my order was in limbo. The chat rep said this:

"Thank you. Unfortunately, your order is being held by our Verification Department and they are the only ones who can release this order or give you information as to why it is being held. You can send an email to verification@bhphoto.com or call 800-622-6265."

I would have had no idea about this unless I had contacted the chat department about my order.

Hope this helps some people.

I would have had no idea about this unless I had contacted the chat department about my order.

I called. It was simple. Apparantly they just want to make sure you are who you say you are. He picked up the phone. Asked me my order number and my name. He then said I am going to call you back at the phone number you provided me when placing the order. I hung up. He called. And that was it basically.

New order processing means you're on the wait list/preorder. At least for me

YAYYY i just did the same thing and they said it would be shipping today!i guess i really did get one of the few white 32 gb's :)
 
I just ordered mine he said they should have them this week. I figure the backlog here is probably still not as bad as it is from apple. I definetely don't want the hassle of going to the store and dealing with the lines
 
Hm, I'm not sure with who are you speaking, but I just called, and they have no info when will they have it. I asked can I preorder it, they said yes, but we have no idea when we will have it in stock?
