iPad 2 London Thread

I have an Argos reservation number for a black 32gb wifi for Bromley Argos if it's any use for anybody as I won't need it now thanks to Comet Old Kent Road
 
Do PC World hike the price compared to Apple? Aparently I can reserve and collect from the one near me...

64GB 3G + O2 is £714 there rather than £659 on the Apple store.

Extremely confused!
 
I am 20th in the line at Westfield and have brought 6 friends with so we can buy 2 iPads each, I will be selling them outside at the 260 bus stop.

No, they charge the same. The price you're seeing there is for an iPad 1, not an iPad 2 (which they won't let you reserve online)

At regent street. Got here at 5:30. Queue huge but they have a lot of stock and the queue is moving.

16gb sold out.

I'm sure I'm repeating other posts but just giving the info I have.
 
Thanks. Any further Regent St updates would be greatly appreciated. On my way down and will be there in 30 minutes
 
I'd be interested to know too.

Mainly because after they sold out of 3Gs at covent garden, i reckoned everyone would go to Regent Street, so I ducked out, altho i could have made it there at 5.45

Just interested to know if that was the right decision or not.

Anyway i got an alternative present... 3DS :)
 
Ok I got 15 iPad's left (Black, all models) they're selling like hotcakes :D

p.s I'm selling them outside the 260 bus stop

Yes. I brought friends with me and bought loads from apple.
Outside Westfield, opposite the tube station.

Update: I got a few more people in the queue so I will have stock all night.
 
Oh those funny Brits with their tubes and queues!
Congrats, but with the super high demand, I can't see why apple continues to allow 2/person. Just caters to the resellers.

I tried getting one in John Lewis and they were only allowing people to buy one
 
got my ipad 2 at Covent Garden, so happy. The 9 hour wait was worth it.. apparently the 3gs were sold out quite fast? how did it go with you guys?
 
Damn, you guys are so lucky living in London with your 4 Apple Stores! I got an iPhone 4 on launch day in Westfield, but it was hell. Hoping Apple'll hurry up and open their new Reading store in the Oracle!
 
I have an Argos reserve code for a White 32gig WiFi in Dagenham; reserved until close tomorrow...anyone want it?
