Wow - scored the very very last one - black ATT 64 gig - exactly what I wanted too - playing with it now

Arrived here at around 6:30 am - Mystikal also scored and we had a good time hanging

Well I got to see Mystikal and Hasan Daddy get theirs after my failed attempt at Irvine spectrum. I was the Asian guy with the buzz cut hair. Unfortunately I got to Fashion Island to late. Congrats to you two!

Were you the guy I was talking to at the end of the FI line that was about to have a smoke?

Anyone going back tomorrow? I think I am done chasing these things for a while, but who knows. Went to South Coast before lunch for ***** and giggles and was told there would be no more iPads today. Period.

The guy told me that they never opened South Coast early. I told him that his counterpart told me yesterday to go to South Coast early. And he said, that they are normally open then, just for one-on-one and not any retail sales. And if they did get a shipment, they would sell them before they "opened". Wait, what?

I just walked away confused and in disgust.

I am just trying to give Apple my money, sheesh.

I think it'd be awesome to organize an Orange County iPhone 5 run. When the time comes, post the thread, and we'll figure something out.
 
I might go back tomorrow... but unlikely. We'll see. I should've just gone to FI in the first place instead of going to the Irvine Spectrum, that way I would've landed the one that I wanted, ATT 64gb, four out of five people got this morning.

Oh well, I'm not sweating it too much as I am still one of the first on the reservation list at my Best Buy.
 
Guys, I have been at Brea on Monday and i was in the line nd they said they dont have any iPads in that days shipment. Then i went there today and they said they handed out tickets. So out of desperation i am planning to go there at 6 am and wait in the line tomorrow at Brea. Does anyone knw how many tickets did they hand out today and will camping out before the store opens tomorrow in Brea bring me any luck?

Hi Avinash...I was there today at Brea and they handed out approximately 12-15 tickets. While I do not know numbers, the AT&T models were in less quantity than the Verizon and Wifi.

Seeing as I did not get the version I wanted, I will also be joining you at Brea around 6:00AM! 32GB Black Wifi here I come!!!!! :D

Probably gonna hit Spectrum in the morning (its on my way to work).

I stopped by there three times today and got three different answers. 1 said come tomorrow at 9am; another said call first we don't get shipments until mid morning and the third dude said we never know when a shipment is coming in and I don't know who told you to stand in line tomorrow...

Regardless, I'll get there early and see what happens...

Called a few Targets and BestBuys. None of the BestBuys offered to be put on a reservation list.

Question: for those of you reserving at Best Buys, how do you know "where" you really are on the list? Reserve in person or on the phone?

Ill be there by 6am too...im looking for a 64black wifi nd either a 32 or 64 black att 3g...hope i get em...ill be wearing a black ferrari tee so look out for me.

I'm going to Brea around 6. Trying to get a Black 64 GB AT&T, for my Dad since he has to go to work. I know what a nice daughter :p

The iPad 2 is really awesome - a HUGE difference between the first and second - it's worth the wait!

Again - getting there at 6 AM should do you plenty good
