iPad 2: Seattle, WA

I order a black 64gig wifi online at 1:08am on the morning of the 11th. The Smart Cover and AV Adapter has shipped. The iPad 2 is still awaiting shipment.

Been calling around most places are out. The Mac store mentioned they are taking deposits for the new shipments. I expect mine to ship soon. The AV Adapter stays it will arrive the 22nd of this month.
 
University Village

hope the Seattle area sees the iPad 2 soon...

I don't trust calling University Village and getting the "true" answer. When the AppleTV 2 came out. Since i was in traffic on my way to them I called them to ask if they had them in stock as i wasn't going to stop if they didn't... Well it took a while to get someone to answer, when the guy finally answered i was pulling in to the parking lot, but i asked him anyway, "any new AppleTV's in stock" and he said "no, they all sold out".... well i decided to walk in and the guy that greeted me asked if he could help me, so i told him i was looking to get an AppleTV 2 and he said, no problem we have them in the back... When i questioned him as to why i was told over the phone outside the parking area that, he said that was a generic phrase that they were directed by "corporate" to say that over the phone and just have people walk in and buy them.... They didn't even put them on the shelves at that time even... I wouldn't think Apple would be that deceptive...

regardless, i am on the edge of just placing the order online, or keep trying to pick one up locally...
 
Tukwila Store

Hi Washington peeps,

I am traveling on business from So Cal and will be in Renton for a couple days. Unfortunately, iPads are non-existant in So Cal, but the stores down here have been opening an hour early at 9AM to sell the few they get. I have shown up early each morning, but no luck yet.

Are stores also opening up early in Washington, in particuar the South Center Tukwila location? If so, what is a good time to line up and does anyone know if there has been any stock in the mornings? My hotel is nearby and I can be there as early as necessary, since my meetings don't start until 10AM.

Any tips or info would be great, thank you.

went to bellevue sq last night to inquire, they said ppl usually line up as early as 5am for the daily shipments and the store starts serving them at 9am...fyi for those who want an idea of when to line up
 
Yeah I swung by Radio Shack downtown on my break at around 10:15 and they were sold out. I had to be at work by 8:30 so I walked by around 8:15 and they had bout 3 people waiting there so I'm sure they got a small shipment only.

:(

No chance I can get it this week cause I'm at work by 8:30 all week
 
Last i checked U-Village Apple store has 64gb verizon white and black version. I called around 3PM so check it out if you need it. I'm only looking for a 32 gb white one wifi only if anyone can keep an eye out for me.
 
Hi guys, I went at the U-village Apple Store yesterday at 9am and they only had 16/32Go WiFi in the morning in very limited quantity...


I would love a 64 black WiFi and I will try to go tomorrow morning before heading back to France..
What do you think? should I try the Bellevue store or the U-Village?

Any updates on how things have been doing lately? I still haven't gotten my 64gb ipad from macmall and is starting to lean towards picking one up at apple isntead.
 
no clue...
but I'm coming back next week, and I would also like to know the current status...:confused:
