Over 200 in line at Alderwood with light rain.

I just stopped by Bellevue Best Buy at around 1:30 local time and I only saw about 12-15 people. Probably a better bet than the Apple store

Yeah they took our names, but we just have to hang outbuntil 5 can save 5% with a credit card too, which I'm contemplating.

Stock Levels

Any stock level reports out there (initial and current)?

At the Issaquah BB, probably 50 at most - vouchers ran out around 4:45pm.
AT&T in Issaquah, 6 total.

How are the levels at the Apple Stores, cut-off yet?

Thanks!

Any late reports? I'd like to know if I can slink in this evening and grab one without waiting :)

Best Buy in Bellevue was sold out of all but the Verizon 3g 16 & 32 gig by 5:15, so i'm guessing by now they are completely out.

Just got home from Alderwood and restoring my new white iPad. Line went super quick after 5. I was around number 50 - 60 after getting there at 11:30. Got out of there at around 5:30.

There were close to 400 people at Bell Square when it opened at 5:00. It's moving quickly, but slinking in and out without waiting tonight may be tough.

Good luck getting one. We got there at 5 and the line was insane. Waited for an hour and a half and barely moved. Then they came and said they sold out. This was at southcenter.

I heard figures of 600+ at Southcenter. It was nuts. I was 60-70ish. Made out with 64GB wifi and booked out. Good luck!

I was fourth in line at Southcenter (got there at 7am). It was weird because for the first few hours, there were only 20 or 30 people. After that, the line exploded! When they came around with cards to write down which iPad you wanted, I could tell they only had 100-200 cards. Definitely not enough for everyone.

Sorry to anyone at Southcenter that didn't get their iPad! And for those of you that did, I hope you're having fun right now! :)

I was late to the game this time and went home empty handed from Bellevue Square.

Tomorrow perhaps?

I am from Canada, my wife is in Seattle for the weekend. I'm hoping she could get me an iPad2- she's going to Premium Outlet tomorrow. I checked online and there is no Apple store/WalMart/Target there. Which of the three is the closest to the outlets?
Congrats to all who got an iPad today...I'm jealous.

Alderwood Mall Apple Store is the farthest North:
3000 184th Street Southwest
Lynnwood, WA 98037
(425) 771-1121

Then University Village Apple Store:
2656 Northeast University Village Street
Seattle (206) 524-8100

Good luck!

There is a WalMart next to the tulalip casino up there by the outlets. Sounds doubtful there is much stock at those locations though. Maybe worth a try.
