iPad 2 = Slight upgrade. Are you really that surprised?

+1 People are never happy. Sorry OP but if you don't think these are worthy upgrades go engineer something better and see how easy it isn't.

It's perceived as a minor upgrade for two reasons:

Its perceived as a minor upgrade or one reason...it doesn't have a retina display. It could have had 2Gb of RAM and a quad core processor and people would still think meh.

Seems to be that way. All the insides and all the outsides are totally different save the screen and people don't think it's a big update...so you are correct.

I think that the ipad 2 is what the ipad 1 should have been in the first place.

I also don't believe people will honestly see a retina display ipad until ipad 4.

I think a 2 year gap is a fair time between upgrades, so I will be buying an ipad 2 and an ipad 4 ! 😎
