iPad 2 UK - Exeter

iPad Watch Exeter 8AM
Went past Exeter Apple Store at 8am this morning.

Believe it or not, there were a couple of people out on the benches who 'looked' like they were possibly waiting for an iPad 2. Long wait.

Oh man, if they're queueing up already, I've got no hope when I arrive at 2pm! I hope they're not! Thanks for the info/picture anyway.

I have just got on the train from Plymouth so should be there in an hour and a half. I will post the size of the queue and update when more people arrive

Thanks Gus, I saw your post on Twitter.

I've seen only about 3 people chattering about Exeter on Twitter, so I think it'll be quite quiet. I still think we're fine for 2, bat717, some folk just like whole days!

Any idea how many they've got?
I can't get there until 3:40 - is there any point?
 
Was hoping to pop down to Gamestation first, but looks like I'll have to head straight to the Apple Store when I finish.
 
14 now. No idea how many but they have just taking some trays of tasty looking snacks instore. Can't wait.
 
Eek! Managed to leave a bit earlier, have to stop at sainsburys for picnic but should hopefully be there by 1pm. Hope that's early enough! Keep the updates coming everyone! Thank you :)
 
ARGH far too many! They'd better not all want the same as me!

20 miles to Exeter. So close. Just hope my friends are quick in the supermarket! And that we find the car park okay! And that its not full. Eek hadn't thought of that.

Here now, sat right at the end of the last bench. They're just about to put more gates up to start bringing the queue around the other way.

Ok, looks like queue is continuing to next bench first. Two girls sat on though and not wanting to budge (not in the queue) :D

They've just come around with a bottle of water for everyone. Might be a ploy to make some people lose their place by needing a pee. ;)
 
Water handed out and chair and stools brought out of store. Just be told they will shut shop at 3 and hand out tickets for the units they have. No idea on numbers but I'm sure it will be fine.
 
I'm here! Right on the corner where the queue snakes round! Just been told I should get what I want :)
 
Just had a guy come around and take some orders to get some type of idea of who wants what and how many! Probably around 50-60 people here now!
