Yeah sorry, noob mistake. Page hadn't refreshed so didn't see all the posts so thought I'd do my bit.
I'll go hang my head in shame :-(

I now get the Oops! error simply trying to either add the iPad to the basket or after signing in using my Apple ID.

"An error has occurred during your session. Please return to the Store Menu to continue shopping."

That's one step before even attempting to place the order. Soon the Apple front page will have nothing on it but that error :)
 
Good luck everyone.

I'm giving up. Managed to get a 1-click order through but no confirmation.

Credit card probably blocked for tomorrow now. Grrr
 
The sim card's showing up in my one-click orders.. and it wants to charge me shipping for it too. No iPad yet, although it does say "All 1-Click items selected within 90 minutes are combined into a single order." so maybe it'll appear soon? After all, the sim card wasn't there at first either.
 
Ordered at 12:35 using One-Click. Takes 90 mins until it processes.

Did the same thing earlier in the day for the Smartcover (they became available to order for a while around 4-5 PM). Took 90 mins then confirmation arrived via e-mail.

Once you use One-Click, the confirmation page has a code, once you've got a code, it's confirmed. Simple as! Save the page for reference and 90 mins later, you'll get an e-mail.

Simples!

Is your smartcover now showing as delivery expected tomorrow?
 
This is so frustrating... I've been sat here for an hour now (since 0:30 am) hitting the "Order" button and getting an oops message every time... It's maddening seeing my order right in front of me and being rejected.... Surely, at 1am in the bloody morning they can get this stuff to work!!! Well, obviously not i suppose :( I've seen piss-ups better organised :(
 
It's the "Oops" thats making it annoying yet funny. It's like it's mocking you. "Oops"...sorry mate...no iPad 2 for you!

Oh well i've done One-Click that should suffice. Off to bed.
 
Just imagine what this would be like if the orders went live at, say, 10am tomorrow when everyone's awake... Apple's fancy new server farm would have exploded...

1 Click is the answer. After half an hour of the oops response I activated 1 Click ordering and was straight in.
 
Not getting Oops messages now, instead the "Place Order Now" button changes colour as if to activate and then goes back to normal as if nothing's happened.

The site is clearly under strain. Way more now than an hour ago.

o o o o i just clicked that view 1 click orders and for the first time its there :O, hopefully its all sorted now so i can get some sleep lol!
 
well the 90 minute window is getting close, so either way you will know for sure very soon mate.
