Or Q for a while. Watch as rumours spread that the shop over the road/round the corner has some and there's no Q. Move up Q. People come back from other shop and re-join Q. Rumours in Q that they've sold out.

Front of Q. Man tells me they've sold out. Start calling shops, checking online stock etc. Driving from one shop to another etc.

Don't know if I can be ar$ed.

My iPad 1st Gen took 5 days from the prepared for shipment notice until delivery. Actually delivered a day before launch. Just wish we could have had pre-orders for this one. :rolleyes:
 
This is agonising. Buy my iPad 3G tomorrow or wait a month and buy it from John Lewis with partner discount and get it for the same price as the WiFi model?!
 
Today is going to be second longest day ever...tomorrow being the longest...at least until 5pm arrives.

£35 for the A/V Adaptor and 2-3 weeks dispatch! Hmm might have to order one and keep trying my luck in store. Hope we don't have another Camera Connection Kit debacle on our hands! Took nearly 2 months for mine to arrive after ordering!

I've been lurking for ages and am beginning to go slightly insane with anticipation. I need to have one of these in my hands by tomorrow night!

I can't get to an Apple Store tomorrow because of work so am hoping my local John Lewis will have enough stock to meet the demand of 1 hour as they close at 6.

The fall back is to order online, the dilemma is whether to wait until i know for certain i can't physically get one tomorrow or just get up at 1am and do it. I just had an online chat with Apple and apparently shipping would be 5-7 working days if ordered online.

An alternative for me is Dixons at Heathrow on Monday morning when I fly out but I can't see them having any stock left after the weekend..
 
Just ordered the cover .. it means I can get the iPad from anywhere and not 'worry' about the cover thing. Will use my old iPad 1 cover if there's an overlap where I have the iPad but no cover :)
This thing is really happening .. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D
