iPad 3 owners, are you liking iOS 6 ?

Warning to iPad 3 owners that travel about using wifi
Just to update people on my iOS6 iPad 3 Wi-Fi issue, I spent 20 minutes with Apple support today and they suggested I restore the iPad (in order to solve my connection issues with Wi-Fi at work).
Like before, the iPad was able to connect to the Wi-Fi network once but when I switched to a different part of the network things began to fall apart again, and eventually I got the 'unable to join network "xxxxx"' alert.
This appears to be quite a serious bug in iOS6 on certain iPads. It's not like I have any control over these access points so what am I supposed to do?
