1. Recognize different levels of pressure - it already has this (check out garage bend app - drums)

That isn't about pressure. The screen does not directly detect how hard you press your finger. Instead, as you tap the drums (or whatever), the iPad calculates how much the accelerometer moved and judges how hard you must have hit the screen. With an actual pressure-sensitive screen, it would be far more accurate but also about more just than taps and hitting the iPad screen. For example, an artist "painting" a picture could shade lightly then press harder for darker areas or outlines. It would also be useful in gaming, where most modern consoles feature pressure-sensitive buttons on controllers now.

So your gonna hold your iPad next to your head to talk to siri?

dude, are you one of the few persons in the world who holds his iphone next to your head, like talking over the phone, when talking to siri? Because everybody else I think just holds the phone in front of them and speaks to it, just like you would do while holding an ipad.

Also, are you aware that the iphone's siri proximity sensor is reportedly different from the traditional (ear) proximity sensor?

It's still there to detect the phone being brought up to the ear.
