I gave up after 12 with various screen issues. I am without an iPad for now. First Apple product I've had to return for a refund.

The complaints are usually the same people crying in every thread like this one.

And we have you to keep us company, in every single thread, saying the same exact things over and over and over and over and over and over.

Overall happy. Few glitches here n there. I liked the old iPad 1 safari hidden tabs/thumb. This new tab system takes up screen space and is a privacy issue. Hopefully they'll bring it back as an option in the future. I wanted a camera that is equal to the current standard on most mobile phones 8-10mpx. But hey, isn't that what the iPad 4 will be for?

Yes, putting a SD card slot into ANY new apple device is like adding on a floppy disk drive. Their vision is that files will be shared wirelessly. See iCloud.

However, I am delighted to have a SD card slot on my Mac mini ;)

Yeah, but Apple's vision and reality are clashing. A cloud service is just fine if you are always under a wifi umbrella. At some point that will be the case. But as of now and for the foreseeable future wifi is not available everywhere and data caps over wireless simply exclude a cloud service from being a viable option for more people than Apple realizes.

Plus at this point iCloud is more of a backup service for documents. Not a true cloud service where I can save my docs, delete them to save space, and then retrieve them as needed.

data caps over wireless simply exclude a cloud service from being a viable option for more people than Apple realizes.

That's why ISP's (including cellular) need to remove the data caps. A data cap is a cap on innovation.

I am 100% happy with my iPad. The only thing that can be improved is there needs to be a small nuclear reactor built in because charging it once a week is just killing me.

Usually, those who are unhappy tend to be loudest, so I wouldn't put much stock in the number of complaints on the forum. I love my iPad. I had the iPad 2, and I would never go back to using it now.

I'm perfectly happy with my new iPad! In fact I'm using it much more than I did my two previous generation iPads thank to the addition of LTE 4G with Verizon (before LTE I saw little need to get a 3G enabled first or second gen iPad).

The screen really makes the difference with the new iPad. Thanks to the camera connection kit I can take my iPad out with me when I'm shooting pictures and see at full resolution my photos and do some quick and dirty editing via Snapseed or iPhoto.

I thought I used my iPad 2 a lot, but I'm using the new one even more. I'm thrilled with it. Especially for reading. When the commercials say that the letters are "pin sharp", they are not exaggerating. Huge difference in quality there. HD video and photos look brilliant. While the form factor has slightly changed, it's still that great slim design. And I don't have to charge it any more often than I did my 2.
