iPad (3rd Generation) Shipped!

My purchase acknowledgement says shipping March 16th.
It came a few hours after the pre-order went through.

Even funnier, while trying to order the iPad earlier, my Macbook air using safari wouldn't load the apple store at all. Order went right through on my windows 7 desktop using chrome. Dunno why, but don't care ;)
 
Well, I figured 'why not?' So, I just pre-ordered. Let's see if mine comes early. Either way it beats standing in line on Launch Day.

Thats funny..I was just joking! I have a simular setup. A PC desktop, Macbook Air, Iphone 4 and Ipad 2. So you are in good company.

I got one for you the first order I got through was in Chrome on my Windows 7 Desktop. I was reloading IE, Safari, aand Chrome. Question I saw the repair status tab are you waiting for a Ipod nano replacement too?

BTW Congrats on getting the device early. I am jealous.
 
Apple will have Fedex/UPS hold them until the 16th.

It will be heartbreaking for anyone who thinks they are receiving them early. A couple of them might get through a day before.

It's common for people who ordered and preordered to get their products a day early.

Very common in fact. Go back-surf any of the new product tracking threads and you'll see dozens of people got the iPad 2 two days ahead of "Launch Day."

Same. 9th on fedex page, 14th on Apple's page.

Not holding my breath, Apple may have an agreement to have shipments held til 14th :eek:
