Ipad 4 hopefully better? What new Ipad should have been this year..

I think we all know a retina display is great but there's so many downsides so far I'm reading like

Heavier and thicker and longer charge time. I'm starting to think I'd have preferred them to hold off retina until next year until that size could come down further.
If you charge it at night it doesn't make any difference, plus its either longer charge times, or shorter battery life. I'll take longer battery life every time
Ipad 3 with Siri, 8MP camera, voice dictation, HD front facing camera may have been better to be honest.
I agree with you on the facetime camera. The back camera is completely useless. I have not once used it. Siri is a gimmick, i actually turn it off on my iphone. It is not remotely useful, even less so on a tablet
If the above happened we would have a slimmer Ipad like the second generation one. I suspect it will be mixed debate whether retina is better or other features but most say the Ipad 2 had a good screen anyway.
I can't even tell the difference between the 2
So maybe going Retina came one year early?

Not if they added Siri + HD front facing cameras.

Siri sucks and who needs HD FaceTime. It's spotty enough when traveling remotely.

I am perfectly happy with my 3rd gen iPad. I don't understand all the complaints people have about it. If you aren't happy with the specs, then don't buy it. Honestly, I feel like a lot of these complainers did not actually buy one, and are basing their arguments completely off of technical specifications.

Excuse me but I bought an Ipad 3 on launch day also owned Ipad 1 and 2.

Am I not allowed to have an opinion on the new one compared to the last one I had?
