My status as well. I assume this flight will arrive in TN sometime soon. My delivery date still says Monday the 19th - but assuming there is no hold put on them - I don't see how it won't arrive by Friday (or even tomorrow given my proximity to TN).

For most packages I usually prefer FedEx because the packages arrive to my house earlier in the day. For Apple products however, I much prefer UPS. They've been 100% reliable and consistent w/o all the delivery date movement or overly pessimistic dates. As I recall, my iP5 had similar delivery date movement.
 
Since initially my order showed delivery on the 16th (then subsequently changed to 19th), plus I have an automated text from Apple that it will arrive on the 16th, my plan if it does not show up Friday is to call Apple and request some type of pittance for the delay. Maybe I can get a credit or something. :D
 
wow, did not expect it to leave Anchorage that quick.. Thought there will be custom and inspection... Anyway the plane should arrive in Memphis in less than 1hr... If they don't put a hold on this, they should get to Chicago tomorrow morning and be out for delivery.. I'n sure Apple put some kind of a hold tho so that nothing is delivered until Friday the 16th..
 
Ugh this is driving me nuts my 64gb black Verizon iPad still says preparing to ship since Friday. Early Thursday it said "ships within 5business days" so if it doesn't ship by tonight they are out of that time frame. This isn't a good experience to have as a first time iPad buyer..
 
Still preparing for shipment, with a date of the 23rd. Guess I'll be in the second round. Anybody else waiting like I am?

I ordered an AT&T 64 GB black iPad 4 on 10/26 11 AM. I got 2-3 day shipping by calling Apple and it was scheduled for the 21st. Now it's the 20th. I guess AT&T iPads were shipped late.

I ordered the same iPad as you, on the same day, and I called in for 2-3 day as well. My tracking number's transit history matches yours to a T, except mine was picked up shortly after yours.

I think we're 2nd-round crate buddies! Which means we're 2nd generation... Which therefore means we're better than everyone receiving their iPads before us, right? Right?

.: sobbing, trying to rationalize how everything is going to be okay until my precious... er, I mean, shiny new iPad arrives :.

Same here :D mine has to go to Oklahoma which is only 6 hours 24 min by car from my house. I am REALLY hope my ipad will show up by Friday. At this point I really don't see how it won't unless Fedex just sits on the ass doing nothing. Apple said there is no hold on the Ipads so we should be good to go.

Mine is also in Memphis. Typically when I am expecting shipments, once they arrive in Memphis I receive them the next day. Fingers crossed for tomorrow, but I know I will receive no later than Friday :)

Even if my order went through ground method I will still think I would get it Friday since my house is only 6 hours and 24 min from Fedex.

Maybe fedex is just trying to cover them self's with a later release date. I wouldn't think delivery date will update until the day before delivery.
 
Well mine just updated a bit ago...scanned into chengdu on 11/12 at 11:47pm....just scanned in chengdu again as in transit on 11/15 at 1:05 am.

No more complaining about being slow in Memphis! 2.5 days in chengdu for some of us I guess.
 
In breaking news, BAIN has intercepted the first FedEx shipment of LTE iPads mid-air

I've been saying the 16th, but...

It might just be that some of them are delivered on Thursday. Seems that I recall that once they hit the US Hub, it was on the truck out to my place in Virginia the next morning.

I think they could actually get out by tomorrow, Thursday.
 
Well, my box is "In Transit" again ...

International Shipment Release - Import at 11:43 in Memphis
now listed as "in transit" in Memphis at 1:22

Delivery date still says 11/19 but it almost has to be Friday (if not tomorrow) at this rate
