There is a flight out of Memphis to Greensboro, NC @ 3:50 and one to Raleigh, NC @ 4:15. Either of which could carry mine. I hope Raleigh's, that way there is a better chance I could get it tomorrow!

Wow 3 flights? nice.. theres only one flight, FX1447 Memphis-Chicago, and that flight is at 3am..
Looks like mine made it to Memphis too. Likely next stop is Ontario, CA. Next flight is at 3:32 local time (same with a couple flights to LAX). Hopefully I'll be on one of those. FedEx was running some 1-2am flights for a while but I don't see any on flightstats yet. When my rMBP came it hit Memphis at 11pm, left at 1am, landed at Ontario 5am and was at my local sort facility (2hr drive) by 8am, then out for delivery at 8:30am. Pretty crazy how fast they can unload those huge planes.

What the.. Mine STILL hasn't shipped! Still says "Preparing for shipment... Expected delivery 11/23"
Same here still preparing to ship and Apple just keeps telling me I'm scheduled for delivery on the 21st. I'm really annoyed, starting to not seem worth waiting for....

If it does than there still would be a good chance getting before Thanksgiving. Perhaps as early as Monday.
Same, same, same. I don't think I'll be as obsessive about tracking the flight or the crate it's in, but I'd like to at least know it's on it's way to meeting the 23rd delivery date.
First, I get what you're are saying. I really want mine to ship and arrive early too.
But, keep in mind that you are still very likely to get earlier than the date shown when you made the purchase. If there wasn't such a thing as this forum, then you would have no idea others had already shipped. Unawares of others getting their IPads before you, when your deliver came on the 21st or earlier you would most likely be singing Apple's praises as they got it to you before the expected delivery date.
And next fed ex flight to Anchorage is in just over an hour... Lets cross our fingers. I think it's safe to say 11/19 is still in the bag, and 11/16 is a very hopeful figure.

Mine left Memphis and is on its way on FX 785 to Raleigh. I could get lucky and receive it tomorrow! Time will tell!
Woohoo, left Memphis at 3:59pm likely on FDX 917 inbound to Ontario, CA. Chances of Thursday delivery are looking pretty good.
Same here as well. I placed my order a couple hours after preorders went live, and was quoted Nov 23 as when it would be delivered. I really hope it will be on its way to me soon to make that date.
This is the longest I have ever had an Apple product "preparing for shipment". It's been that way since Friday night. Is this typical of Apple these days?

So I called Apple again because mine still hasn't shipped and it changed to ships within 5 business days last Thursday. I explained that this is the 5th business day and they said it should ship tonight or tomorrow. She gave me a free smart cover case for the inconvenience that should arrive the 20th or 21st ...now I'm willing to be a little more patient that was way more then I expected Happy with Apple's customer service.
