So if announced next week, it would still be at the end of October.

iPhone 5s event was announced about a week before event.

To my knowledge only the iPad 2010 is not supported beyond iOS 6.

It's actually stuck at 5.x, which it can barely support.

wish the event was next week so we get ipads by the middle/end of the month and not early november. plus my birthday is on the 17th a new iPad would be a nice gift! probably not happening though.. invites would have to go out today for a event next week. invites on the 8th, event on the 15th?!
