iPad iPad 5... Waiting

I hope the iPad 5 doesn't get as hot as my iPad3. Sometimes I have to stop and let it cool down before commencing because I am afraid it's going to get too hot and overheat!
Human skin burns at around 54C. The iPad, per Apple's website, shouldn't get over 35C. If it's not physically burning you, you probably aren't hurting it. Modern processors have extraordinary heat tolerances.
Dont take offence, but even if you're not an iPad fan I cant understand how you can visit MacRumors and not know there was an iPad 5 rumored to be released. There's been constant news, mockups and leaked parts of it plastered all over macrumors front page for months.
Maybe because I stay in the iOS 7 section. Not that hard to understand right? iPads didnt interest me for the longest time. I just recently decided that later I will get an iPad and that is when I discovered it.
My #1 self-gift this year is the new iPad. Currently using 2. Seriously...I can't wait

So am I. I plan on staying with it until it physically stops working. So far I have not been able to come up with a single good reason to upgrade, especially since I will be getting the new mini.
I am waiting to see the new iPads. I saw an Asus that looked amazing but want to compare. I'm not one for gaming or anything specific Apple that I can't do on another tablet. Let's see. At the rate they're going, I honestly am expecting a disappointed bump to iPad 5. Let's hope I'm wrong.

My girlfriend and sister went in together on my birthday Aug. 17th to buy me an iPad 4 32gb. What an awesome gift only to tell them I want to return it and wait for the new one...they weren't to happy but they understood.
I really want to use it to put all my eBooks on it for school....tired of carrying around 10+ books.

I'm waiting for the new Ipad. I just went through the iphone madness. I have the Ipad 3 and I'm excited to see what the new one will have.

I hope we hear something soon, as September winding down. However I am still undecided about a colour, since Apple ousted black with the iPhone 5s which in my opinion looks way better than space grey. I am leaning towards white, especially if the Ipad gets the touch id sensor. I believe that you can see the silver ring better on the white.
I didnt know as I'm always in the iMac section. Not everybody's life revolves around their iDevices guys. I don't use twitter either to get updated that way so yeah. I had a feeling new iPads would be around the corner with the iPhone release, but after a bit of research here and google good thing to know as I just eBay my 3rd gen.
Saw the space grey ip5s , didnt look too shabby. This ipad may be the first apple product i'll either pre-order or buy on the first day.

I do wait for iPad 5 too with high expectations for sure, Firstly, I expect them to upgrade a camera ( not necessarily), new screen and faster processor etc. Apple, probably is going to implant finger print touch ID on iPad 5, which is going to be nice feature for getting rid of passcode. While I'm pointing out the upgrade, they may upgrade ram of iPad to strengthen for games as well as with graphic card.
When is the new iPad 5 suppose to be announced? October? November? I don't own a iPad but from the rumors I've heard it will have 2GB of RAM, less bezel and hopefully touch ID. And that makes me want to wait instead of buying the iPad 4 since it really isn't any different from the iPad 2 or 3. Besides a faster processor and Retina display.
The announcement should be in October, but actual product sales might possibly not start until early November. On the other hand, they need to start selling it by mid-November at the latest, or they'll miss the holiday shopping season.

True they have released a new model on a regular basis, but not supporting older models is just untrue. To my knowledge only the iPad 2010 is not supported beyond iOS 6. I know a couple of people who are still using their iPad 2010s just fine.
