16gb wifi models are $375. The higher capacity cellular models are $150 off!!!

I know everyone is raging about the iPad Pro, but for those of us who are fine with the 9.7" size, this is a great deal!!!

You can always get target to price match for an extra 5% off (with redcard)

I'm just about to take advantage of this deal myself, for a mini 4. You can still get Applecare if you buy an iPad through a reseller, right?

If I was ever going to pull the trigger it would be now on the iPad Air 2. Great deal. I'm still just using my MacBook Pro and iPhone.

It's a great deal, enjoy your new iPad.:D

Thanks @ucfgrad93, I will! I'm coming from a mini 2 so I'm very excited about the new screen. That was the deciding factor for me!

Btw, just out of curiosity, has anyone seen if Best Buy has stated how long this sale will last? I couldn't easily find it on their website...

The Air 2 a good offer but I have a feeling everyone is going to be disappointed in 3-4 months when the Air 3 gets announced if you just bought a 2 it will technically be 1.5 years old already by then in a few months from now (Spring event).

I'd rather wait to see what it offers- even if it means spending $125 more. The air 2 will still go down in price if the Air 3 doesnt end up offering a ton more- although not upgraded in over a year I expect a big update. I dont see the $125 off as that enticing; the Air 2 will go down $100 MSRP everywhere (before promos) if the Air 3 hits in spring anyway and you dont think the 3 is worth the full price.

I got an open box 64GB Mini 4 for $355 this morning. Good deal.

I'm actually curious about the open box items. I saw one too and was kind of intrigued. Can you still get Applecare with it? What's the real difference between that and a regular one?

I don't think the Air will be update until the fall.

Nope. The Air 2 is a perfectly fine product and a good deal at these sales prices. Spring is months away and if you want or need a tablet now, why wait for something that hasn't even been announced? Or wait 2 years for the Air 4 ...

Love the sales you all get in the states. In Canada our big sale on iPads is now $5-10 off...

Fair enough. Everyone needs to do what they believe is the right decision for them.

You are assuming that none of us who recently purchased an Air 2 considered that possibility. I bought my 128GB Air 2 about 2 months ago ($150 off @ Staples). I was fully aware of the possibility of the Air 3 being announced in the 1st quarter of 2016. If it happens, it won't impact my enjoyment of the Air 2 one bit.

You are basing your decision on a ton of assumptions. That's fine, but they're just guesses at this point. Should none of that happen, you'll end up paying full price for an Air 2 if you want one in the first quarter of 2016.

You didn't mention what (if anything) you currently have. That means going without an Air 2 for an additional 3-9 months.

The Air 2 is still a beast of a tablet... even though it was originally released a year ago. That has thrown a few people for a loop, because in essence, the Air 2 was a year ahead of its time. It is only with the release of iOS 9 that it is finally coming into being fully exploited.

You are not alone in wanting to wait, but for those who are considering taking advantage of this deal, my recommendation is to go for it. Frankly, I'm surprised that they're offering deals on iPads during the holiday shopping season. Black Friday, yes, but now, no.

It depends on how long that "open box" has been on the shelf as an open box.

As stated above, you have 60 days from the iPad is setup and activated. If you are going into the store, you can always run the serial on the applecare check website. If you are ordering via the best buy website, you will need to chance it, check when it arrives, and return it if its not within the initial 60 days.

Yeah well you also get free healthcare ;)
You took the exact words out of my mouth. The two most complaining members on MR (in regards to what can't get that the U.S has) are the UK and the Canadians. Yet there are many things they get that the U.S. doesn't and I don't see the U.S. members constantly complaining about it. I wish we could get free healthcare like they do in Canada. I would trade a holiday iPad deal for that any day of the week. ;)

I got the Air 2 for the same price months ago, do not worry about the Air 3 as the 2 will continued to be offered on sale.

Great deal. Been very happy with my Air 2. You can't worry about what comes next as there will always be something better. I simply sell my current device and upgrade to the new one for a marginal difference. Apple resale values are great for this.

Got a 64g iPad Air 2 for the wife. 100.00 off and some saved up Best Buy points, final price 150.00 Merry Christmas to her lol. She wanted the iPad pro until she got to see it and use it in person. To big... I was smiling on the inside as she moved to the smaller and cheaper iPad Air 2 LOL. Merry Christmas to me...

I always do the same exact thing, and it's worked out really well for me over the years. I usually buy latest-model iPads and then sell them when they're about 2 years old, so that I always have a fairly new device that still retains a high percentage of its original value. Apple stuff really does have good resale values...I'm always pleasantly surprised at that!

Have you recently attempted to sell an Air 2?
