I just returned my Air and bought a mini. I can't believe how much more i like the mini form factor. I was one of those who bought the air simply because it's out now, but I should've known better. No more full size iPads for me. Even with the air's new svelte design, it's too big and too heavy for comfortable use.

I was waiting for the iPad Rmini but after going into the Apple store and comparing the iPad mini with the iPad Air I decided that the iPad Air was the best choice for me.

I mainly use the iPad for watching tv shows / music and browsing the net. With this said when comparing the two the iPad Air with how light it was own me over, not to mention the fact I got £50 off!

Went for the 32GB wifi model and couldn't be happier. Just need a good case now!

Nothing better than setting a new iPad up :apple:

Quite frankly, I don't see why the mini is regarded as soooooooo much more portable than the Air? It's a two inch smaller screen and slightly lighter. That's all. Won't fit into a pocket, won't fit into a jacket pocket and fits into a purse roughly the same as the Air.

IMO, losing two inches of screen is not worth this perceived extra portability.

But, to each their own.

It's not about the size, but how you use it.
Mini Ipad Retina for me.

Sold my Mini to help pay for Retina mini. Bought 1st generation Mini to hold me over until the Mini arrives. Then, the 1st generation goes back. Bought my wife an iPad Air, which she likes. Counting the days. Hope we can order online in the middle of the night!

I have had every iPad so far with the exception of the Air (just keep selling and trickling them down my family).

I just sold my iPad mini and am waiting for the retina.

I have held and played around with the Air and I just love the one handed useably of the mini. You just don't get that with the Air.

I think if you have owned a mini you know what I mean, but if you have just played with one for a bit you might not get that it truly is more portable and easier to manage with one hand.

Now release it already!!
