How are you dealing with the display downgrade? Any regrets?

I haven't really noticed the difference in the screens between the 2018 Pro and my new Air. So it's safe to say that I don't have any regrets.

The only thing that is taking time to get use to is going from Face ID to Touch ID on my iPad. But it's not that big of a deal as I use Touch ID with my Mac mini too. The Touch ID is not a deal breaker for me.

Yeah, I have an iPad Mini and it took me awhile to adjust to having Touch ID back in my life. But I did adjust, and now I instinctively rest my finger on the power button whenever I pickup the device. My primary device is an iPad Pro and I never try to Touch ID unlock it.
