I have had an interesting experience with iOS 9.1 on a cellular iPad Air. Double pressing the home button causes the device to shut off and not turn on for hours. Can't restore either. Apple Retail will love this. Filed a Radar too.

...on the 5S and air 1 it's truly "painful" i dont call that over "dramatic"

I have both and I can confirm that either you are over dramatic or your idea of "pain" is quite different from mine.
I'd recommend a course of Android for a few months to make you appreciate the better things in life once again.

Thing is; its not just me is it... :p
And yes, i think that will be the next move. Apple just doesn't work anymore.

Best not use Android in your example. Android 6.0 runs more fluently (in terms of animations) on my Nexus 5 than iOS 9.1 does on my brother's iPad Air.

You know what, judging by the amount of Apple equipment you own I don't think you believe you own words either.

Just returned an AW and a ATV4, so never say never.
But your point is a good one, apple are very restrictive in terms of the ECO system.

I've never bought into the all-in ecosystem approach. I own Apple, Windows, and Android devices (and I'm testing out a Chromebook on loan) based on how each device suits my needs. There are enough cross-platform apps that I don't need to have everything be the same platform to work together. No one is forcing you to keep buying Apple.
