This is more of a meta post, but I'm realizing that this thread doesn't work on Safari! Whenever I come onto this thread specifically, Safari won't load the posts. I can read the posts fine on Firefox.

I’m reading this thread on Safari with no problems. Never had a problem seeing any of the threads here on Safari.

Edit: Sorry, didn’t see your solution till after I posted.

Macrumors works fine for me on Safari. But I have issues with other websites where pages just don’t load without me having to force close safari and reopen. This is what prompted me to look at alternative browsers lately. Firefox has been my favorite of the bunch I’ve tried. I know its the same rendering engine, Firefox just seems overall faster than Safari everywhere.

I haven’t really experimented too much, so maybe it has something to do with my AdGuard blocker. This issue happens more on my iPhone, but I regularly experience it with my iPad as well.

Edit: Just read your solution. Maybe I'll turn off AdGuard (and possibly NextDNS) and try that. It's likely the cause.

I guess I can keep this connected with the iPad, but I will say that I've been pretty impressed with adblocking/content blocking extensions on iOS/iPadOS lately.

If I'm going to be on MacRumors or other similar places for a while, I'm gonna use my Mac, no questions asked. But the fact I'm more or less able to have the same quality of adblocking across devices is nice.

I absolutely love Firefox, definitely the best alt browser I've used ever even decades later.
