Just placed a pick up order for two 62GB ATT White minis. While I am happy I was able to reserve them I am still disappointed my "PREORDER" wont be here for another week or more and I ordered two minutes into the "preorder".

Looks like we've only got black 16gb AT&T models in the northeast. Verizon models have a larger selection.

I was able to get a black 32GB Verizon mini from the SoHo store...just ordered for pickup. Perfect timing to be flying to NYC tomorrow!

Just wanted to let everyone know, Check the Apple Store App for LET iPad Mini's available in Southern California. Just ordered a 16GB Mini LTE Verizon for pickup.

In Northen California, looks like most Verizon mini models are available for in store pickup.

Apple keeps everything so secret, they don't even tell their employees what is happening. Earlier today some stores were already selling the LTE mini. Other said it would be available tomorrow with early reservation at 10PM. Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

I guess this is the new Apple.

Reserverd a 16gb black @ North County. No other sizes in stock for att.

Was easier than finding a box of twinkies.

Got Black 16GB AT&T LTE (unlimited data...WOHOOO!) for pick up. No white models available but I think black is better for the iPad anyways since I'll be streaming tons of netflix 😛

Stores are not staffed 24/7. Nobody's going to put aside your stuff for pickup until they get into the store in the morning.

Are stores opening early today are normal operating hours? I'm pissed cause the Apple store all was showing availabity for mini LTEs last night at 11 but would not let me select the store. Now it's showing unavailable. I might try showing up at opening and tryi g to score one.

Normal hours . They became available around 12:05

So I'm standing in line at the Apple store. The guy at the door told me that no one else was looking for my model ipad mini LTE so I'm all set. 8 minutes to go.

After receiving my disappointing shipment date of November 26th despite the fact that I ordered it on launch day, I decided to call and see what they would say about why it was okay to hold up preorders but allow for store pickup and walk ins...

Well, they told me that there ARE NO LTE minis available today and until late November, and that it is impossible to get an LTE at this point, the launch isn't until late Nov. That everyone who is picking up LTE is actually only getting wifi only models since that is the only model available right now.

So according to CSR, everyone was duped, you actually only have the wifi model!

Really???

SMH.
