Your opinion is needed ASAP..... can you compare the split view of Ipad Air 2 to Mini 4.... does the Mini's feel gimmicky?
Lmao... don't worry. I totally understand. I did see "proof of delivery" ... but new guy said he signed for 20 orders which all came via UPS today... and we counted out the 20 boxes in the area where it was supposed to be... so instead of signing for each order individually, he signs for the batch of 20 all at once. Hence the lack of detail.
I decided last year after the Apple fiasco with the 6+ I would never play the Apple order and wait game again.... Just not worth the stress.
I feel bad for those that do not have an Apple Store or Best Buy near them.
As for my phone I have the plan with Verizon to upgrade every year as well and I am not in a hurry this year to trade up so will wait till Verizon has the new 6+ in stock.
I did want the new mini 4 right away because husband is getting my mini 1. Fortunately I saw late last night that my local Apple Store had my silver 64 in stock so bought and paid and heading over to pick up after work

Went to the Apple Store in UK and no problems getting hold of a 64gb Space Grey. The colour gamut HAS been fixed!!!!! I'm not 100% sure it's 100% perfect (gamut) but it's certainly 'fixed'.
I've come from an Air and this size is a joy to hold. I'm typing so much quicker and there's no wrist ache.
This thing is so light, it's incredible. The woman at the Store agreed, this is the mini everyone has been waiting for.

Status changed to shipped with ETA Saturday. Anyone tried the pre-sign thing? I most likely won't be home. And the Hold option isn't available yet (but might show up later).
Definitely don't pre sign. If you do, and your order get lost or stolen, you're liable not them.
I understand, but it's pretty safe. Fedex just delivered 2 atv4 boxes to my apartment, they didn't require signatures so he left them at my door, it requires a key or code to get into the building so it's relatively safe. I also have amex purchase protection. Hopefully I can hold it at my local fedex office, I usually can, otherwise I guess it's worth taking the risk than waiting til Tuesday to get it. (Fedex Home doesn't delivery on Mondays IIRC).
Love it, super fast, colours are great, this is the iPad mini I've been waiting for, skipped the last two generations. Love the new case and cover too, in lavender looks great on the gold.
Mine is finally out for delivery, due between 1pm and 2pm by DPD. Can't wait 
This has nothing to do with you personally, but this is what's so infuriating to those of us who pre-ordered. Why did we need to when Best Buy and Apple Stores and people who ordered the day before can get them before/same time as people who ordered over a week ago? :S (Again, nothing personal to you Trespanthers, just griping about Apple...
I totally get it. I was in the same boat with the iPhone 6 preorder. And in an even worse situation when I preordered the iPhone 6c for my daughter.
Over the last day I used my iPad mini 4 more than I used my mini 2 in the last month. Not only to install it, but it feels so much faster than the mini 2. I've now put it in my old Joli Originals sleeve, but that's slightly too short so I'm waiting for my new one which hopefully arrives next week
Received my mini 4 yesterday... I love it! The colors are great - it's fast - responsive - bright - supports split screen. Just moving to mini from iPad Air (and other prev. gen. iPads) and love the thinness and how small it is. I travel for work and this will not weigh my purse down like my Air... If fact, it will fit perfectly. Hope everyone else is loving theirs as well!

"Powerful" is an odd term to use here. It has less capacity, yes, but is still rated at 10 hours, and early reviews have indicated that it still has the same battery life.
still waiting for the first mini ordered to arrive. it's still showing that it hasn't arrived at UPS.... but since apple is showing it in transit there's nothing they can do right now (so they say).
probably going to go ahead and pick one up at apple tomorrow... then if the one ordered ever shows up... return it. at this point I don't have much faith it will show up! it's lost (or stolen)..... but stranger things have happened!

I threw an extra original mini screen protector on it since we had them leftover... it's short on top by a bit but it will be ok til the ones I ordered from amazon show up next week!

Just picked up my iPad Mini 4 from the local Waitrose (John Lewis click and collect). Looks good, slightly thinner, feels nice. I've begrudgingly ordered an Apple silicone case and smart cover (white and stone respectively) which will be here next Tuesday but in the meantime I did manage to squeeze the taller mini into my old iPad case. The cover won't stay shut but it will do as temporary protection.
Only problem is, my old iPad was on the 9.1 beta and I need to update the new mini to 9.1 before I can restore my iCloud backup. Except the 9.1 update doesn't appear if you install the beta configuration profile nor is there a build available in the developer centre for the new mini, so I'm currently unable to restore my new iPad. A word of warning for anyone with their old device on the beta program!

Totally nothing at all, the new processor is also friendlier to the battery so the batterylife is exactly the same as with the iPad mini 2 & 3.

I've not charged mine since yesterday am - have used it fairly rigorously - and today I'm still at 62%. I do not have another mini to compare it to... However, the same usage on my iPad Air (1st gen), would have resulted in a depleted battery. Personally, I've no complaints at all regading the battery.
