Hey Guys
How does the iPad Mini 4 feel in the hands, I have preordered mine to read comics off Apples book store, watch movies and play Hearthstone before bedtime. I used to have an iPad Air but my hands used to get tired when playing hearthstone or watching movies while i was lying down. Is the Mini light as a feather compared to a Air?

Ups hub opens for an hour at 9pm for people to pick up "missed packages", at least they do so here in Sacramento. Maybe call hem to hold the package there and pickup yourself?
Or you can walk into an Apple Store and get one. Return the other
I have never owned an iPad Mini, I do have a iPhone 6 Plus however, I have been hearing about the washing out of colours. Will I notice any significant difference when watching my HD films and tv shows on my iPad Mini when compared to the iPhone 6 Plus!
Just received it and I quite love it. It feels quite a bit lighter than the mini 2. And it's a LOT faster 
Once you are into watching content, you are unlikely to notice unless you are using that content purely as a test. It's fine for watching movies on.
Too big. Last full-size iPad I had was the iPad 3. I've had an iPad Mini 2 ever since and I much prefer the smaller form factor. I found the iPad Air uncomfortable to use one handed for any period of time. The Apple Smart case was also driving me mad as the magnets wouldn't hold when it was folded back.
I decided to give the Air ago as its the most powerful you can get and there was a longer lead time on the Mini 4 when I first looked. But now John Lewis have them in stock I decided to return the Air.
I own the 6 plus as well. I picked up the Mini 4 yesterday and did some tests last night comparing to the 6 plus (watching same HD movie I own....Django Unchained..side by side was one test): the color/clarity of the 6plus was noticably better in my eye.
Not sure if this is the case of the 6 plus being so good (ie one of th best mobile displays) or the Mini 4 falling a bit short in this area. Going to compare against my wife's Air 2 tonight (when I get back to Atlanta).
My initial impressions are that the Mini 4 display is an an improvement over the previous Mini's (owned 2 of them), but is still a bit lackluster. There is something about the brightness, clarity and color that seem to be on the dim side for my taste. If however, when I compare directly against the Air 2 tonight, the two displays look equal, I'll chalk my initial impressions up to a case of the 6 plus being an exceptional display that the iPad's don't quite measure up against.
I'm not sold on the Mini 4 display just yet.

HA! Got it delivered a few hours ago! It's so nice, thin and light! And really fast compared to my old Mini 1.Sorry to hear that. Perhaps you could call them and ask them to hold off till Friday?
There is a depot a near "sloterdijk", when I worked in Amsterdam I've picked up packages there. You can call them and let them hold it there so you can pick it up in the evening.
i don't feel like driving an hour to pick one up in store when apple should have had it to me at least the same day they were available there.
only one of my tracking numbers is showing up in ups this morning (surprisingly the 2nd one i ordered on saturday). we'll see if it's a case of they just didn't scan the other number.... either way, if only one comes today it's MINE! (hubby knows happy life, happy wife hee hee!)
Same situation. They're in stock at my closest Apple store now, but I don't feel like taking a trip out there today to pick one up and then having to go back this weekend to return the one I ordered on the 9th.
That said, I am still tempted to do so. My shipment email from Apple says it's going to be delivered today, but UPS says it won't be coming until tomorrow, so I'm guessing tomorrow it is. I realize these are good problems to have, but it doesn't help my impatience!
Finally.....(gold 128 mini4)....On the truck and out for delivery.....
After six months of using the galaxy tab S and it's excellent screen I am looking forward to comparing the new mini screen. Performance wise, I know the new mini 4 will blow the galaxy out of the water but as long as the screen is Apple good, I will be very happy with it as a entire package.
All my Apple accessories came over the last few days including the gold charging stand, smart cover, and various accessory cords and SD card reader.

Haha, there are minions behind the 0900 number, just try another number. I usually pick nothing so you get forwarded to an agent. And if that doesn't work just pick another number for another department and ask them to forward you to the right department.Thanks for the advice. I tried finding a phone number online but can only find the 0900 number which never let's me speak to an actual person (it's a computer program, one of those loops...aaarrghhhh)
Mine arrived an hour and a halve ago, setting it up now.
First impressions are good, love the small formfactor, but do have to get used to it after all the normal ipads....
