iPad mini iPad mini Pre-order thread (Canada and U.S.)

Mine says 11/2 - 11/6.

Preparing for Shipment :(

It's already been charged to my credit card..am getting nervous.

Smart cover arrived today but of course they came in the middle of the day when I'm in work so just go the 'slip of doom' when I arrived home. No Fair!

Actually I remember when the iPhone 4 came out, Apple did in fact allowed early deliveries. So I wouldn't go as far as saying "never has, never will"
 
I preordered a White 16GB Mini 3 minutes after the pre-orders went live, and my order is still processing with a delivery for November 21st to Canada. Is this just me or are other Canadians who ordered the white model still processing? I'm considering cancelling my preorder and trying my luck in stores on Friday morning.

Don't be nervous, it's normal for Canadian orders (same thing happened on my last two iPad orders and iPhones). Trust me, your iPad will deliver by Friday.

I live in Texas now but only for 4 years. Moved here from Pottstown/Downingtown PA. Lived there my whole life before now. :(

Mine also still says preparing for shipment but it's trackable with the serial number.
 
It shipped! (I'm in Texas)

Apple JUST updated it and it shipped on October 28th. Being held in Nashville out of all places... It didn't even come from China. It's origin is Tennessee.
 
I got the shipping notification too around 4am, also says it shipped Oct 28 and expects delivery Nov 6 (which is disappointing since I ordered exactly at midnight).
 
Around 1 am got a email saying my ipad is coming from PA, didnt say it was from china or anything. Now this morning, my ipad is the next city over. Desipte hurricane sandy, it came very quick and apparenty my cover is still stuck in KY :/
 
mine says that its in my area fedex location, but to be delivered tomorrow.
Can I call them and ask if I can pick it up today. Will they let me pick it up early?

Ordered immediately after preorder started, shipped on 28th, delivers tommorrow via UPS. Winnipeg.

I ordered about 20 minutes after the preorders opened since apple.com was later than the apple store app and mine's delivering on the 2nd. It says up to 3:00pm but I had heard that Apple will make sure they all deliver in the AM

Where did you hear that? I have no specific time frame listed on mine. It just says:
Scheduled Delivery:
Friday, 11/02/2012, By End of Day

read it from other posts on the forum. Mine says by 3pm. I also read on various websites that Apple was going to make an effort to have the Minis delivered in the morning since they had been sitting for so long at the sort facilities.
 
I guess Everyone is busy waiting by their front door for FedEx/UPS lol.

Mine is out on the truck being delivered currently.

This thread should just be closed I suppose.

I gave up waiting for delivery, went to an Apple store at 9am to buy a black 16gb and white 16gb (for fiancée) and have been enjoying it for a good half day.

I'm in the GTA, ordered a white Ipad Mini minutes after the store opened at 3am, and I'm still stuck at "Preparing for Shipment". No hits on FedEx or UPS or my Support page either! I feel as though I'm in a black hole! Seriously considering going out and grabbing one... if any of the 3rd party resellers have any left. Anyone else in the same boat?

I was too but stores in my area didn't seem to have any whites in stock at all. Only blacks. I settled for the black and it's not bad. I'm growing to like it.
