iPad mini iPad mini Pre-order thread (Canada and U.S.)

Event shipping would prob mean it will reach you on the 2nd. Mine is Event Shipping as well and I ordered at 3:01AM EST.

How did you fill out UPS? Ive tried with my phone # and no luck.

Go to UPS.com, select Tracking -> Track Shipments in the menu at the top. Once on that page, there is a Track By Reference link on the left. Click that. Enter in your phone number assocated with your Apple ID account, and then select Country and Zip Code.

If that doesn't work, try the same thing on FedEx.com.

No such luck 🙁 I tried it on Fedex. But I think it will be UPS for my in Ontario Canada.
 
Hhmm mine is still preparing for shipping.

Edit: Correction, as soon as I made that post the status changed !

Ok I have one from UPS, and one from Fedex.

Does that mean the iPad is on it's way on FEDEX? I assume the heavier one is the iPad. Or do they use 2 carriers for one item? They're both expected to be here tomorrow (30th). Does the "future delivery" mean that it will be held there till the release date?

My Smart Cover has departed Anchorage and is due to be shipped by Wednesday at noon. My mini, who the hell knows. I bet it'll be like the iPhone 5 launch where the phones were shipped in huge pallets to Hamilton and then broken down and individually shipped from there. In that case, we won't see tracking until Thursday.

Atleast I already got my serial from my Support page. Ill keep trying.

Im in Stoney Creek.
 
My cover and mini have both departed Anchorage the cover delivers tomorrow but the mini of course on Friday I wonder if they will split up or if the mini will just sit at my local hub a few days

I had my order in by 3:08am on Friday I believe. It's pretty strange, on my order I have one item shipped (smart cover), one preparing to ship (mini) and one processing (lighting to 30 pin adapter). I've covered all the stages simultaneously!

Can't wait for the mini. The black and slate will look really good with my dark grey Smart Cover (or at least it did on the apple site).
