It's now been four and a half days that the device has been sitting in Chek Lap Kok. Four and a half days.
I ordered at 5:00am (Eastern) the morning of launch, and it's looking like the device is nowhere near me.
16GB space grey ordered 5 am launch day, scheduled delivery 11/19. Odd thing is that I don't see any flights from Anchorage to Louisville today? And its still in Anchorage.
I got the usual line that the shipment may have missed a scan or the system is behind in updating.
If it truly does miss its date of tomorrow, I'm going to say that a big portion was boosted from shipment.
On a side question, this is my first time ordering a release day Apple product, is this sort of thing common from past experiences with people? I did a quick search on "stolen ipad mini" and seen that during the 1st gen mini launch 3,000 Mini's where boosted from an airport.
Just got an email from Apple.
My 128GB silver just shipped, with a delivery for the 27th.
Tracking isn't available through UPS yet so it may come sooner.

In less than three hours, it'll be five straight days sitting in Chek Lap Kok. I can't imagine a circumstance in which it makes sense to have devices (ordered within ~2 hours of release!) sitting in storage for five days. So either the tracking system is borked and my device is actually close to my location, or something went very wrong with the shipping.
Mine arrived this morning in the Netherlands. ETA for 11/22 so far .
I guess Posten is the post office ? How did you learn it wasn't TNT who is going to deliver ?
Yours doesn't have a departure scan yet? Mine got one this morning (with a time of 8:37 PM which I assume is HK local time )

Mine has been stuck in Anchorage since Friday. It is going to have to move soon if I am going to get it by the scheduled Tuesday delivery.
