2nd this. Think about it. It is doing them a favor of not having to deliver a package. Saves them fuel and staffing. Granted its one package but they have been paid to deliver door to door and you are doing the leg work to pick the package up from their facility. Once it's at the local sort facility it is pretty much ready to be picked up or delivered.

Ordered mine 1st day at 4am EST, received mine Friday at 2pm EST. Signature was required from Fed Ex.
FWIW I called Apple again to try a better refund option so I could do in store pick up. Really no option with multiple gift cards. Apple originally comped the expedited shipping and offered a case, which I declined. Apple offered cases again, this time I accepted. The rep also stated the 128GB AT&T is extremely popular and I should adjust my expectations towards the later date even though I ordered on the 12th.

Oh man after waiting so long for my gold 5s now I have to wait for the 128 ATT rMini. Daaaaaaamnnn.

I ordered my 128GB ATT at 8 am Tuesday. It is still processing.
I called and got free shipping upgrade and the guy told me I'd get it Monday. Then he left a message on my home phone that, sorry it wouldn't be Monday after all. So I called backed and said I was annoyed that I had arranged to be home to sign but it wouldn't be there. She offered to pay for the case I had already ordered but I asked if she could do a Bluetooth keyboard instead since it was the same price. She said sure. So I have my case and will get my keyboard tomorrow. But no movement on the iPad yet.

Normally I've gotten Apple products in two days from China. I also live in Michigan. My 16GB rMini wifi is in Anchorage currently with a delivery date of Tuesday 11/19. I ordered on launch day at 0530am/est. For some reason this time it stayed in China for 3 days. Hope your rMini ships soon!
I'm guessing it'll ship out from there sometime tomorrow then... Not too much longer though!
Ordered a space grey 16GB Wi-Fi within an hour of them appearing on the UK store on Tuesday.
Received it on Friday via UPS at around midday.
The display is noticeably less vibrant than my 5s - but still wonderfully sharp. The display hardware (or colour profile?) almost looks like it's representing colours a bit more accurately instead of 'popping' so much.
Still considering if I will return it and pick up an iPad Air instead (i hear Tesco are doing a good discount ).

Still sitting in Anchorage! Ordered 16GB grey, 5:45 am EST on launch day. Scheduled for Tuesday delivery. That's a 7 day turnaround time.
Yes I completely agree but then again I'm afraid if I do anything else it'll cost me an extra day - not a good system for early pickups.
I took a vacation day for Tuesday the it supposed to arrive so I don't want to screw anything up that. I started this question on Friday midafternoon. It was already at the sort facility 15 miles up the road and I could've easily got to get it on Saturday.

Mine is too, but delivery expected for Wednesday. You may be surprised. 1) could ship tonight and once in the states UPS/Fed Ex can get any package anywhere in a day. 2) might already be in the states and just not scanned in.

Honestly it could still come in on time. My iPad went from HK - Ontario, LA, - Richmond BC - Calgary, AB within 24 hrs so yours could still get to you by Tuesday. Are you near a major airport? If it's somewhere where UPS fly direct they might just fly it in tomorrow afternoon. Mine was in Chek for 3 days and overnight moved through two cities.

Mine is still in HK as well & I completely agree.
If I were you, I'd have somebody home all day Monday to sign for the delivery. Barring that, and if it's safe, pre-sign for delivery.

I called Apple Support, who checked and said it just can take some days to clear customs, and that it would deliver on time. I did not pay for expedited delivery. I keep wanting them to offer me a free case and not knowing how to ask for one, since the iPad is not late yet. Any ideas are welcome.
