Got mine today. No image retention and washy screen doesn't bother me. However, absolutely nauseating yellow lower half of screen. Much worse than I anticipated.

Anyone know how long it takes for Apple to ship a replacement? Does it ship out immediately upon initiating the return, or after they receive and inspect the returned item?

Isn't the yellow just the adhesive from the screen that still needs to be dried? Give it a day or two. As for initiating a return, I've never done a return with Apple.

Actually , I called them to state building , floor and apt#.. Even though the "concierge" knew about sending the guy up..then is when everything was F..... up. Crossing my fingers for tomorrow ..for you too !

Fedex- wouldn't let me pick it up this weekend. It was here Friday. It was set for delivery tomorrow by 10:30am.
Tracking shows out for delivery today, and I took a vacation day to be home(45miles away) tomorrow. Aghrrrrrr

I went by anyway on Monday at 5, asked for the package and had it within 3 minutes. So I spent today setting it up. No problems with the unit I received. Sooo fast

However, I will pick up the free cases tomorrow at UPS along with a wine shipment (not from Apple).

My slate grey shipped yesterday with an Apple estimated arrival of 11-27 (bummer as it's being delivered to work and I took a personal day off that day), however FEDEX's delivery estimate is Monday, 11-25 so I'm a happy camper once again

i pre-sign for mine and stick the paper in the door. That way if I don't hear them I won't miss it.

Then if it vanishes, stolen, FedEx man decides to keep. He has your signature as confirmation of delivery and receipt.

We logged onto tracking and have Need signature items delivered to local FedEx shop-print. They hold in locked cage. Sign and receive on my way home from work. No missed deliveries. Secure.
