Wouldn't matter if you lived next to the Apple Store ... Online sles and in store retail sales are treated like 2 completely different companies when it comes to returns! Dumbest things Apple does IMHO. If you buy online it must be shipped back to return.

Actually in Apple's return policy it states you can return something bought online in the store.

Unless that has been added in the last few months its something they don't like to do honor etc ... I have tried to return online special order to the store on a few occasions.
