No nothing fell on me thank GOd. Power is still out all over though. And it's oh so cold. I am sure there are worse though in this area and New Jersey alone I am sure! I hope everyone is safe and able to ge everything they need
mine still says its in memphis, fedex is suppose to deliver it today, in florida!
My 64GB mini just arrived. Doing the update now. It had 96% power in the battery, out of the box.
The screen look just fine to me NOT pixelated and I am using a iPad 3 with a 4 on the way!

If only there was a way to track the exact location of the little brown van right now!
Yeah, every delivery vehicle should be equipped with a tracking device so you can pinpoint their exact location from the Internet.
Seriously, I'm enjoying the wait but can understand the flip side as well.

Just received an E Mail from Apple that Fedex can not deliver to our area due to Hurricane Sandy. We live about 30 miles north of New York City. Tracking showed that my I Pad Mini has been at Fedex Facility at Newark Airport since Wednesday then last night it shows that it departed last night.
People have a lot more problems then me not getting an I Pad . One of these days it will get here.

Been on a truck since 6:59 AM.On the truck for delivery, but I'm at work. Hopefully my signed notice works. If i see that it's delivered, I'm dipping out for "lunch".
Hope it's not UPS. I have twice now had them ignore that pre-authorization and not leave my package. The excuse is that it is up to the driver to make the call. I was told generally Apple boxes are highly targeted for theft.
Hoping that once the priority overnights are done at 10:30 AM we will start seeing more minis show up

Hmmm, it's almost always the same guy that delivers to my house, so maybe I'll slip a GPS tracking device on his truck when he delivers today so that I can track future deliveries. Of course, if he doesn't drive the same truck every day, I'm hosed (not to mention that I don't have said tracking device anyway).
Where are you located specifically? Concord is a major hub and departure scan likely means that it is being transferred to a smaller local hub first before it goes out for delivery.
But you never know. Like I said, my iPad 3 shipment never showed "Out for Delivery" on the day it was actually delivered.

On a day like this with a new (or multiple) Apple product releases they may well have a lot of extra trucks on the road in order to keep up. So it may not be your normal driver today.
