iPad mini iPad Mini Shipping/Tracking Thread

I placed my order yesterday (friday) at 12:02 a.m. (iPad 16g wifi white) and right now the order status still says PROCESSING. Any clues? Suggestions? Could something be wrong?
 
Preparing for shipment....white 16GB model with 11/2 delivery date. Smart Cover has shipped! Ordered exactly at 3:00 am Eastern time using the app on my iPad... Took all of 30 seconds. :)

No idea, I'm in the same boat. I ordered at the same time and everything. Seriously annoyed that mine is still processing, yet others who ordered later in the morning is preparing to ship.

Yeah and the worst thing is that I can even access the Chat option on the Apple Store, there is just no Chat button.
 
If yours shows still processing, don't worry. It means nothing. It's always this way. They ALL will arrive the same time.

Only worry if its shows an issue, which this is definitely not.

But Hey! Do what you want. Waste your time hunting it down. Got nothin better to do right? :D
 
I called yesterday and added the pink smart cover to my iPad mini order, and it's already shipped but my iPad mini that was ordered shortly after 3AM has yet to ship.

That's probably because the iPad Mini isn't released yet or even that close to being released. Wait until it's a few days before.
 
I think location is likely a factor in when yours ships.

I have never had Apple products show up late so I'm not going to worry about it. Everyone will get there's on time.

I had bought a white 16 gb white iPad 3 2 weeks ago,replacing one that got stolen,and I wanted to get the 4th generation,but since I was already a day past return time I had to put it up for sale on eBay which I did yesterday early afternoon,but the value had fallen so much on it,I only got $400 for something that is in new condition that I paid for $543 with tax 2 weeks ago,so I didn't get enough to get the 4 so I got a mini,it will be easier to use during reading.
It just frustrates me that they upgraded so soon and totally dropped the 3 making the resale value plunge,ohwell I'll enjoy the mini for now and get the 4 eventually.

You do know apple stores extended the return on iPad 3 to 30-40 days

One person claims that their iPad shipped and refuses to post proof.

For everyone else who ordered early it's being prepared for shipping which basically means that they're waiting to ship it so UPS/FedEx won't have piles of iPads at their stores waiting to be delivered on 11/2.

The proof is in the pudding . . . Perhaps their pudding went AWOL ;)
 
My Smart Cover shipped, it's currently in Hong Kong. However since its an LTE mini, it's still processing.

That explains it then. I just checked mine, and it now says it's preparing for shipment :).
