iPad mini iPad Mini with Cellular Pre-order Thread

iPad Mini-Black 16 GB Verizon LTE has shipped and arriving on November 16th by 10:30 a.m. or so it states that time :) I apologize ahead of time for this.

Hope they turned mine on and it is tracking it's self the entire trip from China to the USA with Apple Map's :)

Got an email said will ship my 32GB White ATT mini in 5 business days on Nov 8, still at prepare to ship and will deliver on 21st with standard shipping...:(
Want to get my tracking number as soon as possible!! In other way, apple still not saying when will it be available at the local apple store. I would like to line up instead of waiting if it doesnt deliver at the same day as it available in the local store...
 
Finally got shipping e-mail for my AT&T 64GB Black Mini w/LTE ordered in first 2 min of pre-order.

Bad news is FedEx tracking shows a delivery date of 11/20. However, I'm willing to bet that this particular model won't arrive in Apple or AT&T stores any sooner so not going to cancel my order.

Anyone ordering the same model show an earlier delivery date?

I'm assuming they will be in stores on Friday and Apple is hustling to make sure pre-order folks get theirs the same day. (From pickup in China to deliver on the East Coast in less than 72 hours seems pretty quick!!)

this really, REALLY pisses me off! during the order process it said that getting the mini personalized would delay it for a couple of days.... yet here they are delivering a personalized one FOUR DAYS before my non personalized one is scheduled..... and i STILL do not have any movement.... it's just sitting there at "preparing for shipment"

NOT HAPPY WITH APPLE RIGHT NOW! :mad:

and adding insult to injury..... every time i called and asked for faster shipping, they said it was coming as fast as possible from china.... well first and foremost if they'd just put it on a plane it would get here! but funny how they can ship me two of their covers yesterday, which my tracking shows originating in china, and they'll be here friday.... why does it take the ipad mini so much longer? what a fiasco of a PREorder release!

smart case progress.... the order was just placed yesterday afternoon at 3:20...... i had shipping notice by 8:30 last night:

Got tracking this morning. I'm on the 11/20 delivery boat too. 64/White/AT&T. Not happy.

That said, my Smart Cover came sooner than the date FedEx said it would. Maybe this will too...

How much sooner than the FedEx originally projected delivery date did it arrive?

Usually these things can make it to the US in 3 days or even slightly less since they gain some time in the flight over. I wonder if Friday is too much to hope for at this point.

Hmm... This is slightly concerning. For you guys who ordered black, on your support profile page does the icon next to your Mini show a white one or a black one??

I ordered 64GB Black AT&T but at supportprofile dot apple dot com the little picture of it is a white one. On my order it says black.
 
Here in Germany still waiting with staus "late november". Is there anyone in germany with a delivery date?

Apple said 11/2, FedEx said 11/1, it came 10/31.
 
Just rcvd my notification (Black 64GB AT&T). Ordered 15 minutes or so after on sale time. Original estimate said Nov 23, then "Mid November", then "Nov 21" and now due to be delivered by "Nov 21". Do I give a damn that others may get theirs a day or two earlier than me? Not really - it's not a competition.

To those of you who received shipping emails early this morning yet still seem to have a scheduled delivery date of 11/16, did u pay for (or get upgraded to) expedited shipping?

Because it seems like some of the AT&T ones were shipped around the same time but most of those seem to be scheduled for Nov 20-21 for delivery.

Had 2 minis AT&T ordered white and black as of 8:15 am EST white shipped and black still preparing for shipments.

White said on apple 21 on FedEx says 20 delivery.

Still waiting on black that says on apple for the 20th.
 
Still waiting for my black 64gig AT&T to ship. It says est delivery date is nov 20th.
 
Im guessing here but what I think maybe happening is AT&T is shipping these from there distribution sites and not coming directly from Apple. So they are waiting for product than will ship as soon as they also have them in stores possibly this Friday. So my guess is At&T gets them this Thursday than ships out all there pre-orders and opens Friday morning with stock in stores. Don't shoot me I am just thinking this could possibly be the case
 
Today makes it day three of "Preparing for Shipment" for my Att 32gb black mini. Which means that I will probably not get a shipment notice today and have to wait another. I think having it delivered on the 16th is impossible like Apple said originally but hopefully I can get one in store that day. Will try the local Apple Store and ATT stores. Gotta have hope anyway.
 
Mine shipped late last night. FedEx estimates a delivery date of Tuesday, November 20. I was originally listed as November 21 with Apple before it shipped. This is for an AT&T 64 GB black and slate model.
 
Got the shipment notification email this morning a 4:52 AM CST. Ordered on 10/26, estimated delivery is 11/20. AT&T 32GB Black. The wait is excruciating.
 
16GB AT&T in Black. Mine shipped on 11/13. Still shows "left FedEx origin facility in Shagnhai, CN". Status unchanged for over 24 hours.
 
My black 32GB Verizon has changed from Shenzhen to Lantau Island HK, and is currently showing Chek Lap Kok HK. Delivery date still shows 11/16.

Did not pay or ask for expedited shipping. Original date was mid-November, then November 21st, and when I saw people posting about the 16th I went and looked at my email and noticed I got a shipping update and it had changed to this Friday, November 16th! Guess I will find out Friday for sure. And doubt it will come early. iPad 3 was very late in the afternoon almost evening before I got it delivered to me!
