Anyone with a "at local FedEx facility" in Shanghai since 10:00pm 11/15 (local time) seen any movement?

Very disappointing that device has been sitting in Shanghai for 43hrs without heading to US.

Hopefully some others of you have seen your FedEx status updated to reflect more movement than mine.

same as you also with one of the ipads and the other is worse still on prepared for shipment

I got notice from my CC company that it's "preparing for shipment" yet no products in my profile, and nothing shipped yet at least not by my phone number at fedex or ups.

This whole launch seems a lot more messy than any other I've dealt with in the past. Usually, common practice has been that they arrive on the same day they're available in stores, and usually Apple sets a date when stores will get them. It's 2 pm and they've not come out with anything, so my guess is tomorrow isn't going to be an "official" launch... maybe stores will get them, maybe not.

It sorta leaves a sour taste in my mouth. I've been working with Apple for a long time, and this is the first time people have had a legitimate gripe about the launch\distribution. I hope this was just a QC issue or something that delayed the release, and not a hint at the future of product releases.
 
Just called local apple store (after having called this morning at around 10:15am local) and they said they had Verizon minis left but the AT&T ones sold out.

So they did receive some of both carrier models today. Just FYI for those worried that AT&T models would be unavailable in stores for a while.
 
Mine left shanghai and went back to shanghai as well so I'm in the same predicament as you all and it's been sitting there all day with no movement.

Great city, I don't blame it. hehe. I'm wondering if the scans are delayed. UPS and FedEx are usually on top of their game, so I'm guessing not. Mine says preparing for shipment, but it looks like Apple stores are getting their stock tomorrow, so my guess is I'll be going in to buy one, and just returning the web order. Apple's slow fulfillment definitely left this fanboy disappointed on this release.

What Apple Store is that? In California the local store says they don't know anything, although they indicated that they knew it would be "soon", and "days, not weeks"...

(Of course, the reason they don't know more than that in advance is because it takes less than 5 min from a phone rep saying something before it appears on the Internet. :)
 
Mine showed today, unfortunately since I wasn't expecting it until tomorrow I didn't have the pre-sign form out on the door. I guess I could drive down to the FedEx facility but I'd honestly rather just kick back with a beer. Tomorrow will be her soon enough.
 
Same... Are those minis still in Shanghai are AT&T and are for the west coast??

Just went in to the Apple store to return my 16GB wifi Mini and I returned one of the free Smart Covers I got. I exchanged it for 2 12w power adaptors.

I also asked if they go the cellular versions in today and he said yes, they got a few from both carriers.

This was in Raleigh.

FYI for anyone in Michigan I was just in the Partridge Creek store and they haven't received any cellular minis and have no idea when they will see them. Like many have said cannot remember a launch so seemingly disorganized, it seems only certain models are shipping and some stores are receiving them and some not, I am unimpressed. I have come to expect a more organized, single day release. I think it is much more fair to those that preorder not to mention there is just no rhyme or reason if you where a shopper trying to know when to find one in store.

Apple really screwed this one up. I'm actually going to order a Kindle 8.9 HD LTE.

I have 2 iPhones, iPad, iMac, and MacBook. My last Apple's for a while.

Neat thing is Amazon is paying me enough for my iPad 3 to almost pay for the Kindle.
