iPad mini iPad Mini with Cellular Pre-order Thread

Well my ATT 64GB White delivery date improved from the 27th to the 21st. Not so thrilled about the wait. Interestingly enough though according to my serial number it wasn't even produced until this month unlike some who said theirs were in sept or oct.

In the same boat. I agree most likely we won't see these until Monday, but that's at least better than the Tuesday they initially said.

i ordered my friends 64gb att mini and it got a new delivery date of 11/26... orginally it was 11/21... WTF :mad:
 
Have same schedule as those seeing a 6:20pm 11/16/12 "in transit" message.

I just find it extremely odd that my device was picked up at 10:28 am on 11/14/12 and sat in Shanghai for 56hrs before moving. Particularly when apple is trying to launch this product.

Happy to see movement but perplexed by the 2 1/3 days of wasted time.
 
Mine didn't make it to the local FedEx facility in time for delivery today. Probably was an hour or two too late. Oh well. Monday it is then. A little disappointed but a couple days is little in the grand scheme of things. And it still beats the original target of the 21st.

For those keeping score. White. AT&T. 64.
 
Mine FINALLY moved to shipped after late last night but the tracking is now showing no results even 8 hours later. Maybe they haven't refreshed or maybe it's just disappeared into the mist...right now both are equally plausible with this pre-order.
 
Thought the "in transit" at 6:20pm 11/16/12 local time meant your device was airborne? Think again.

Just checked the FedEx tracking page again, and as of 9:33pm local time, the device is still "in transit" ....... but where? Oh, in Shanghai!

These minis just don't seem to want to leave the Shanghai area :)

Hopefully get them Monday but, based on the lack of movement to this point, Tuesday is looking a lot more likely.
 
Well FEDEX screwed me. It arrived in Newark NJ at 7:45 PM last night, but did not get to my local hub until 7:51am this morning. Obviously too late to be put on a truck for delivery. Mind you Newark is only a short drive from me.

I'm wondering if they will let me pick it up at the hub?
 
Mine is still in "preparing for shipment", after a 40 minute wait on hold for "Senior manager Mark" I was told the only thing he could do was cancel my order and I could try to reserve one online tonight. He kept telling me how the demand was so high they can not meet the demand. How could this be if I ordered the minute it came up for pre-order yet anyone can walk in a store and buy one?? This is my first and last pre-order of an Apple product. Very upset in this whole thing to say the least.

I ordered the exact same configuration the moment the store was live. Mine is still in Shanghai...
 
Frustrating!

:eek:Well mine has change 3 times in 3 hours. It originally read Nov 21 then an hour later it was Nov 23 now its Nov 26! Mid Nov is now the 26th?

LOL I am glad I can vent here. Even if no one cares.

It left Newark at 4:05 am and arrived at Edison at 7:37 am. They did load it on the the truck for delivery at 8:32 am. Scheduled delivery still show the 19th, but I'm 90% sure it will be here today. Time to presign for it.
 
Mine FINALLY shipped. And delivery date is 11/21. After I specifically called to say I wouldn't be around that day and needed it expedited. I have a feeling fedex will deliver faster than it says but it's incredibly frustrating.

No if your iPad made it to Shipped it has been built and assigned a serial number.

It will not be re-purposed because of a stolen shipment

JUST switched to shipped, est. delivery date 21st, and it continues to get worst!!!
