The Midnight Blue eBay fake Apple Smart Case....

Hi, is the rear section of the case micro-fibre lined at all? I picked up a cheap case from Amazon today which claimed it was, only to find the corners were just plastic, and I really don't fancy dragging those over 2 corners of the iPad to fit the case. Looks like it'll cause damage.

It's certainly a micro-fibre lining inside the entire case. Not as much of a "pile" as the official Apple cases, but much like the inside of most 3rd-Partt smart covers. Like a fake suede I suppose.

Pics of the "Blue" fitted.... TBH I'm impressed. Apart from the difference in material, you'd be hard pressed to distinguish from the official Apple Smart Case for the Air/Air2.

The iPad with the case weighs 653g. This is spooky because the iPad with the Moko translucent case + Apple Smart Cover weighs..... 653g!

Hi,
What screen protector did you get? looks good. I no longer have the 10.5 Pro, returned it but when I revisit the purchase in a few months.
thx

This is the case I purchased from Amazon: click here

It looks better in the pictures on Amazon's website. When it turned up it definitely looks and feels like a cheap case, which given it cost £8 I'm not going to complain about!

However, the microfibre lining in the rear section of the case doesn't extend into the corners. The plastic is pretty strong and inflexible. So in the absence of instructions I'm not sure how to get the iPad in there and not risk the plastic causing damage either on insertion, or if I need to remove it.

In the absence of instructions I'm guessing I should slot the right hand side of the iPad into the long edge of the case, and attempt to hook the the two sections on the left hand side over the iPad.

Were you able to find one that ships to Canada?
Made of “leather” nah. Like I’ve said I like the procase from Amazon with clear back I got at launch, but I’m looking for a review of a leather case before ordering. 2months wait for something no one has reviewed before isn’t my cup of tea

Received the ESR and JTech cases today. Can't fault either of them. They are both excellent. One will have to be returned but which one I do not know.

Ended up returning both of these. When I returned my US Smart Keyboard to Apple in exchange for a U.K. One I saw and fell in love with the Apple Leather Smart Cover. £69!!! Got £26 back off the other return so I'm saying the Apple Leather Smart Cover cost me £43 Yes, I was always crap at maths!

Just got notification less than an hour ago that my Zugu case has shipped. It still shows pre order and shipping on July 10th on their website so thats good! Hopefully will have it Friday or Saturday. My knock off Apple Smart Case still hasn't been scanned into the USPS system despite having a tracking number generated 5 days ago. The Zugu is going to likely be my permanent case so I will likely return the knock off Smart Case or sell it to someone here that might want it.

How did you sort the keyboard out in the end?

Just a couple of questions:

1) How sturdy is this smart case when folded into the "viewing" angle? I use my iPad often with the magic keyboard and looking for a case that will allow me to tap on the screen while at a good viewing angle. Would this case be good enough for that?

2) Are the cutouts for the speakers and port openings all perfectly aligned?

3) Does it feel like it is durable? I don't much care if it's not real leather, as long as it doesn't feel flimsy like it will fall apart.

4) Which do you prefer? The fake smart case or the moko clear cover with the Apple Smart Cover?

Thanks.

The Poetic went up $5 – now $14.95 in the USA. I don’t recall if it always had free shipping or if that’s new. The clear’s still not on Prime, but the grey is.

I have it in my cart but haven’t bought because i’m not sure I like the way part of the case stands out to hold the pencil (which I don’t have).

I agree. If they got rid of that lanyard loop in the corner it would be perfect.

I have the same Procase. It's ok. I want a soft back though. Like the iPad Air 2 leather case.

1) No issues with tapping the screen when in viewing angle. Soesn't topple over as has "long" section in contact with the desk.

2) Surprisingly, yes... the speaker holes are perfect.

3) As durable as a £10 case can be... hard to tell but I don't think it will fall apart any time soon, but you get what you pay for I guess

4) As they are the exact same weight, I prefer the moko clear back and apple smart cover. The ASC is obviously better quality, and this setup allows me to use the ASK with minimal fuss, or indeed no cover at all. I was expecting this fake case to be lighter but it's not. If I didn't use the ASK, this case would be my daily driver.

The perfect case for me would be one like those .35mm thin "barely there" iPhone cases that just protects from scratches and not drops. I have AC+

I've ordered it based on your review. For £10 it looks pretty amazing. How hard is it to take on/off? I will have an ASK soon, but will be using it only periodically when I travel. Plan is to get a back cover for that.

Just received my sleeve from Pack & Smooth. Super nice quality, 100% wool and natural colored leather - and it fits both the ASK + pencil.

Highly recommendable!

I also have 2 of these cases, I hate to say that the stand hardly works for me. The magnet is really week and it simply doesn't stand up, let alone withstand a tap. I wouldn't purchase these again.

Just got my iPad Pro 10.5" smart case from eBay (UK). It is pretty good, excellent fit just a few creases on the corners, but for £10 delivered I can't complain too much. Definitely my preferred style of case.

Any pics of the exterior? Is it real leather?

Just got my Zugu case in today but I'm at work at the moment. Will report back in a few hours hopefully with some pictures.

I got my "Smart case" from eBay today - Really love the look. Feels nice and is very thin. The magnet is not very stock, barely stays closed when held upside down. The sleep/wake only works about 5% of the time though.

For reference this was the eBay (US) listing I used: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-Sli...ase-For-Apple-iPad-Pro-10-5-inch/302350251655

Ordered the same one, should be getting delivered this week. Does this have an Apple logo on the back? None of the pics on eBay showed the back, lol.

I think if they did show pictures of a back with an Apple logo then Apple would ask eBay to remove the auction. So they probably don't show it intentionally.
[doublepost=1499481586][/doublepost]Has anyone used a Pipetto case? I'm considering getting this one:

https://www.amazon.com/Pipetto-iPad...=1499376529&sr=8-7&keywords=Pipetto+ipad+10.5

I like the origami stand, and this one looks nicer than the Moshi Versacover and is available in more colors.
