Same here. Departed China last Friday and not a word since. Hope it is not lost somewhere.
Mine says the same. "Preparing for shipment" my Smart Cover is to be delivered Tuesday. (Ordered both on the same order)
That one is out of stock at the moment. I ordered the "space gray" one that will be in stock April 1 for $0.01 and $5.98 shipping. I am thinking they are making their profits on shipping and not the item.
I can afford the $6 if the case is a dud...

Got my pencil today. Going out of town tomorrow and will be back the 31st in time for the iPad's arrival. Last time I ordered an iPad I had to print something off and sign it, leaving it on the door for the delivery person. Someone told me you can sign electronically now... anyone know anything about that?
Per Apple, you still need to print of the authorization from the shipping notice from Apple.
Darn. Guess I need to figure out how to email the authorization form to my printer so I can have someone else put it up for me. I have never used that function on my printer before so I will have to test it before I leave tomorrow if I don't already have access to the authorization form by the time I depart.
I caved and ordered the 32gb in rose gold from AT&T. Showing ship date of March 30 with overnight delivery but I know how they are.
Not sure where you are (I'm in the U.K.) and the ups flight to Cologne isn't leaving until 10:40 uk time (it's 8:30am) now. Have a look at the Hong Kong airport cargo flights, if you're in the states.

but if our iPads are on that flight then they would need to have begun their ground journey from Shenzhen to Hong Kong already and they haven't, well we can't see the tracking if they have!Thursday morning?! I can't handle that
Oh I posted this on the UK thread already but my Apple Pencil order and iPad are both PFS and are due to arrive tommorow and thurraday respectively (according to email) and I have faith they will. But I find it strange how no delivery date is shown on the order status page, next to where is says "Preparing for Shipment" like it usually does?
They're probably already en route to the airport. Shenzhen is less than an hour away from the airport or so.I'm also UK

It goes to Philadelphia via Cologne. Cologne is the only European hub that takes care of all the apple shipments.
So, it will go there first and then fly over to the London on Thursday morning (around 1am probably)

Either way, you should see tracking information once (or even before) the flight has left Hong Kong.My iPad won't be on that flight anymore as I have cancelled my order yesterday to get one in store Thursday morning, but I'm still excited for everyone else
Edit: Apple couldn't cancel my order anymore, so I'm keeping the iPad I'm getting and it should be on this flight haha

Really early Thursday morning haha! It's probably just an error it will show, in time once they get the updates from the carriers.

Funny you should say that, UPS1/5X1 does not seem to exist other than on Hong Kong airport departures list. I also can't find it on any flight tracking website! Just keep an eye on flight aware viewing Hong Kong and see if any UPS flight leaves at 17:40 local time. If I find out more I will post

Try flightradar24 once the flight has taken off. Only put in UPS1, it will then show the flight and it should show it.
