And what wattage can they charge up to? Honestly never knew there were different 60 and 100w ones until recentlyAnyone know what transfer speeds this usb-c cable is capable of?

Yep, seen the same over time too. All of those little crevices act like cavities in a sponge. At least you can clean traditional cables with alcohol. These things get super dirty btw
and also with individual magic keyboard/mouse/trackpadApple already sells color-matched woven USB-C to Lightning cables with the newer iMacs:
Wonder if this does video out too
I’m tempted to get one because honestly the cheap ones you get off Amazon can be so unreliable the price difference is just not worth it.
ok, dont knew thisApple already sells color-matched woven USB-C to Lightning cables with the newer iMacs:
You can use an Apple TV with your iPhone; no need for a remote. One does need a cable to charge an iPad.I love how here we get an improved more durable cable, and then we look at the new AppleTV where they can't include any cable at all. Such a conflicting strategy. Both products require a cable to function. The iPad obviously needs it to charge and the AppleTV remote also needs it to charge. Your AppleTV isn't much use without a remote.
I wish Apple made thoseNo, you need a USB-C cable that specifically supports DisplayPort.
A no-brand cable can fry your device in a split second. No joke, they sometimes switch data with power and the you’re putting 100w through a tiny, tiny wire. There was a google-engineer on youtube that tested all kinds of cables from Amazon, Alibaba etc. One of those fried is testing equipment and laptop.I wish Apple made those
My secondary monitor is a USB-C monitor and it likes to randomly power cycle. I thought it was defective but it happens much more frequently with one cable which leads me to believe no brand cables are just trash
