I've had mine since launch day (Nov. 11th) and it's happened to me only once so far, But I don't think returning it for another one will fix it. Seems more like a software related than hardware.
It happened to me 3 times so far. No further problem has been observed since then.

I've had my since launch day, happened 3-4 times, and hasn't returned since. The day 2, when no one was reporting these issues, I thought mine was defective...

i'm noticing an issue w/ my smart keyboard where non-application typing does not work after going to sleep, ie: entering password from wake, command-tab, command-space from home, etc. Very frustrating to not be able to command tab around the os.

Resetting the ipad, or reattaching the keyboard fixes the issue.

Could it be, that the iPad Pro 128GB (with or without LTE) always has a "yellow tint" in the display? I noticed in the store, that the 32gb model has a "colder" more whitish display. I find it unacceptable so I will return my ipad Pro 128gb.

Every screen has a different colour temperature. I have never had a really good explanation...but they simply do vary. Some have theorised that there is more than one screen manufacturer. But I know for the iPhone 6S plus there is only one currently (characterised by a shadow screen blemish in the lower left corner on almost all samples) and the colour variance between them is crazy. So the bottom line is that it is a lottery. You could end up with a more blue one, or a more reddish one, or a more yellow one....or even worse, one that is yellow on one side and blue on the other. It is generally the case from what I have seen that the iPad pro is warmer than the iPhone 6S plus on average.

It wouldn't be a huge problem, if the screen was just warmer. But it is uneven. The top part is more white than the bottom part. Its really annoying and also worsens in various viewing angles.

Mine has what seems to be imperfections in the anodization on 2 edges.

My first one had some of these spots as well, and also a tiny pit in the aluminum (was probably there before it got anodized becaue the inside was still space grey). I had it replaced because there was a tiny chip in the screen out of the box.

Will these imperfections cause the aluminum to be more likely to corrode down the line? I'm happy with the screen on this one

Out of curiosity - if you guys apply slight pressure to the bottom half of the screen, can you hear air being pushed out of the iPad? (This obviously only happens if the pressure is applied quickly.)

No. No movement no air pushed. Lol. You got me to try it though.

In fact so far the only prob I have with ipp is, I have nothing to winge about.

Oh the years I spent on Windows PCs, I guess just got me inured to problems. They were the norm. Guess I miss having something to blame for reports going in late.

I had one that did this. It also had an annoying clicking noise when pressing the bottom half of the screen.

Mine made the clicking sound. Apple swapped it out without question, even though it was too noisy in the Apple store to hear the clicking at the Genius bar.

The only thing that I've noticed is that my Home button is a bit "funny" in that it feels a bit loose sometimes. Like if I just rest my finger on it there's a very faint click and ever so slight movement as if it's not seated right. I'll be getting the Genius Bar to have a look next time we go up that way to see what they think.

Bump to add my "faults and issues."

Edit: I'll also add that any push in the bottom-center 5th of the screen generates a pretty severe LCD "ripple" effect. I'll change it out, I'm sure the next one will be much improved!

That was my experience with my 12" Pro. Till I found this or another thread. Then I tried a suggested solution. Turn the device off and take a q-tip dipped in isopropyl alcohol and swab the home button around all edges and surfaces pushing down so it "clicks" and continue swabbing around and under the rim.

That took care of it for me. Let the alcohol evaporate completely and then restart the device. I was planning to go to the Apple Store as well but after doing this I have not had the issue again. And now I regularly clean the screen and button with one of the iKlear products. I have not had to do the q-tip/alcohol thing again.
