The only thing I have wrong with mine is the 'clicking ' noise on the lower half of the display.
It's like something is slightly loose but you do have to listen to hear it.
Not sure if it's worth exchanging it or not.
Loving the pro by the way.

only issues i have seen are software. I get the powered off bug every time i charge the IPP over night.

I only use the IPP for drawing and painting. All the drawing paintings apps i have tried have bugs. Procreate has allot of issues with palm and gesture rejection. the pencil does not register all my strokes. some go missing. Pressure curves are sub par (from a wacom user perspective). definitely not a pro tool yet, but its a nice portable sketchbook.

Oh and i have lost the cap twice now. such a stupid charging solution. but, i guess thats the best they could come up with with the tech that tied to batteries.

Slight Wiggly power/volume buttons... I had similar issue with iPad Air 2, anyone else know if this is designed that way?
I tried out some models in store (the Air 2 and Mini 4 had the same thing) the Pro had a tiny bit of movement, but not quite as wiggly as the one I got. I realize is probably not a huge issue, but am curious if anyone else has slightly wiggly power/volume buttons.

Don't know if it's the store demos but noticed speaker distortion when near max volume. Had to drop the volume like 3 ticks for the distortion to go away.

Mine has been running like a champ since the day I pulled it out of the box. No clicking in the construction, no dead pixels, no yellowing, no light bleed. It's just a monumental fingerprint magnet, lol. But that I can live with.

The only issue i have is the battery, and its been present on 2 devices; wifi and lte version.

Honestly wondering if this will bubble up to a systemic issue

As of Friday we now have over ten at work. They're decent so far, no issues of consequence. Now that we've all adjusted to Apples variable quality and slightly increased ratio of bugs per device no one faces disappointment.
Just out of curiosity, what kind of place do you work at?

I went to see one at a store and the display model was bent.. It was a slight bent but unmistakable from the side. Kind of baffling that Apple did not use the 7000-series aluminum on this thin and large device after the last year's Bend Gate. I mean, if they used the same aluminum they used on the original 6 Plus, I expect to see lots of bent iPad Pros in the wild.

that basically :)

I've had mine a couple of weeks now and other than low-noise alerts and only 2 overnight freezes i'm still a very happy chappy.

I ended up having to get mine replaced due to the gyro having issues and the screen not orienting itself properly; it would way too easily switch to portrait one way, even just laying it flat, and would have to be shaken to get it to switch to portrait the other way. They replaced it with a new one in about five minutes, and no issues with the replacement at all.

If there is distortion on an iPad screen from pressing on it, does it damage the screen or lcd? I was just curious as I pressed down on mine and saw a little color ripple/wave effect. Will having done that cause any issues down the road? I realize this is a silly question but I'm not super familiar on how iPads LCD screen works and worry about damage from slight pressure or distortion. Thanks for any insight or help to my totally newbie question. :)

I've been using my pencil a lot lately and I've noticed when I'm pressing (not too hard but firmly) on the screen with it there are certain areas where I see some colour rippling from the LCD. I'm worried if I'm causing damage. Is anyone else experiencing this with the pencil? I'm surprised this is happening considering the pencil can sense how firmly you press so I wouldn've thought the screen would be more reinforced.

Some people have seen this here: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/ipad-pro-screen-issue.1938885/

You could try exchanging it, but from what I've seen, it's pretty normal.

I bought iPad Pro 32GB and I noticed that the screen showed a slight darkish tinge on the right side. I figured it's just the way the manufacturing display shows. That was also similiar on some iPad Airs.

I decided to return 32GB for 128GB. Today, I got the 128GB in mail and the screen is much more uniform. There is no "dark" tinge at the edges at all! I think the displays are manufactured by two different companies.

I wish I took the picture of my old iPad Pro so I could show it.

I have Pencil for almost two weeks and I am loving it!

Mine's screen shifts from blue to yellow from bottom to top. Same crap as iPads I've had in the past. I'll probably return it and just keep the $$$.

What is everyone's experience with standby battery? My pro gets used just a little bit every couple days but in a period of standby (say 24 hours) I will note what it was when I left it and when I open it again it's like 10% more drained. That's with zero use. I even turn Bluetooth off when. It using the pencil.

Anyone else having odd standby drainage?

Am I being overly picky here, or is this "too" yellow?

In the front, an iPad Air 2, compared to my more yellow iPad Pro.

Before I sold my Air 2, I compared the 2 and noticed the exact same thing

The third straight day of waking up finding the iPad Pro frozen with a black screen and needed to force reboot.
One week left for me to return it.

I've had mine since launch day (Nov. 11th) and it's happened to me only once so far, But I don't think returning it for another one will fix it. Seems more like a software related than hardware.

Thanks for this! I'm thinking it's just how it is. My wife got a pro the other day too and she said she gets the rippling when using the pencil every now and again. I think with it being such a huge screen it's bound to happen!

Virtually all LCDs do that so nothing to worry about other than a minor eye sore.

How many of you are having backlight uniformity issues? The top and bottom right of my display are slightly darker than the rest of the display. It kind of bothers me but it's pretty minor - not sure if it's worth exchanging if this is relatively common?

I love my iPad Pro but is scared me when I took it off the charger and tried to turn it on and it was dead. No response from the home button or off button. It was in sleep mode when I put it on the charger but was comatose when I took it off the charger. Had to put it back on the charger and hold both the home and power buttons at the same time to get it to wake.

Is this a problem?

This is an iOS bug. It's well known and should be fixed soonish. It happens when it's charged to 100% on some devices.
