Ordered a space grey on Next, I delayed a week so I won't get it till the first of Dec, I've Sold my Air 1 and I'm all in, I have a pretty large collection of Digital comics and I think the Pro will excel in the reading of Comics, watching Videos and reading magazines. I've ordered a combo case smartcover on Ebay for $15 at least to protect it.

Love my IPP but it has to go back to AT&T. I am going to order again and see if the new IPP's screen is better. I thought this screen lottery with Apple was done but apparently not. Kind of aggravating especially on a device this expensive, a display this big and with it being touted to artists/designers/creatives.

There are worse things in the world.

What's going on with the screen? Why won't you just see about getting a replacement from Apple... I haven't had any screen issues thus far.
 
Couldn't resist, plus I had the funds to pay for it up front so I got the Space Gray today. About an hour in and I'm loving it!! I decided to get the Logitech Create Keyboard too and cancelled my Smart Keyboard order. I'm loving the idea of an illuminated Keyboard. The weight isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Still lighter than a Macbook IMO. But no Apple Pencil yet...

I have an appointment with Apple Friday but I will probably cancel it. I bought mine from AT&T and Apple will not replace it with a new box item as it wasn't bought from them. They will do a refurb. I don't want that on something that is only 3 days old. So I just ordered 2 new iPad Pro's from AT&T and this one I have now will go back. Hopefully one of those 2 I ordered, the screen will be fine. If not, I will pick the one with the best screen.

I get a nice discount from AT&T because of who I am under as far as business goes. I don't get that discount from Apple. The screen is yellow (smoker yellow) on the top 1/4 of the display. It doesn't move or change when rotated. So whites are not white and any color that gets shown in that area washed out.

Awesome! I thought about the Logitech CREATE keyboard primarily for the illuminated keyboard, but just don't want a case though.

Did you do an in store pick up? Or just went in early to check stock?
 
The Apple Store does have the Pencil. I just picked up one. They had 10 on the shelves. Willowbrook mall if you are in Houston.
 
No movement on my 128gb SG iPad Pro... I ordered it via the NEXT like most of us, and the hold for the tax and what-not disappeared off my card a moment ago... I wonder if that means its about to ship? hmmmm.....

The disappearance of the charge does not mean anything... As far as I know... With the iPhone 6s orders, there was a pending charge just to check if it's a valid payment method.. Disappeared. But later the charge came when it was placed in shipment status.

It's going well. The Apple Pencil is a no latency stylus. It's about 25 percent faster and more accurate then my Surface pro 3 pen. I have only use it for a short time. But as soon as you write with it. You will tell the difference. It writes with you not after you. Perfection. I know Apple is mostly never first but they are mostly better. This time Apple nailed it. I tried out the Smart keyboard. Other than the fact that there is no backlight. The Smart Keyboard is what I need next. I just installed my tempered glass scree protector. The Apple Pencil works great even with a screen protector on it. Just like my surface pro. My only knock of Apple is no attachment or clip on the pencil to hold it on something. I know third party accessories are going to make something.

Sometimes my the charge will drop off then get reapplied. Due to how long you can have a pending charge on your account. When I got my iPhone 6s Plus. The charge. Stayed pending until I actually got my device. It's all up to the financial institution.

I thought you had a keyboard for the iPP... That's not good enough for you? And I'm not looking to buy a screen protector... I prefer the touch/feel aspect of it without a protector.

They didn't have the Smart Keyboard available at the  Store when you gotten the  Pencil. If I had a Silver/White iPad like you... I'll get the Magic Keyboard, I'd think it'll go nice with it.
 
No. I went to the Apple Store. I called over 5 ATT stores around me and couldn't find any with stock, not even in white or gold.

So far I like the illuminated Keyboard from the Logitech. It's sturdier than the Smart Keyboard.

I cannot underestimate how small the Air 2 looks once you use this thing. WOW.

I tried to hang around the Apple store today to see if a shipment showed up of the Pencils. No such luck. I think I may head back Friday because it seems like Apple tends to stock up for the weekend sales. I suspect higher level of Shipment units now due to Black Friday coming!

I like the portability of the Smart Keyboard. It's a grayish/charcoal color and it looked great with the white silver iPP on display. It's a sturdy and smooth option. If it was available I would have gotten one. I have a smart keyboard on order from Apple online store. With a ship date of December 16th. I can't wait. Then my setup will be complete.

My Apple Store rep said the get a truck every other day of Pencils and Logitech keyboards. Just keep checking. Over the phone no one will give you info. I am learning. It's like a big secret. Lol. The Apple Store I went to today only had the gold iPP cellular. No other cellular option. I had to check I was curious. They had the 32gb's in every color. If a person is willing to spend 800 on a 32gb. They might as well get a 128gb for $150 more. At least that is how I see it. Hopefully I can get a Smart keyboard of a Black Friday inventory truck.

True. But it's similar to the 16gb iPhone... Some people will not use that much GBs and are perfectly fine with a 32GB iPP. I got the cellular iPP, but I've yet to activate it through AT&T just yet. I've been using hotspot through my iPhone. Eventually I'll activate it, but I just feel like AT&T is practically stealing 15 bucks with that activation fee.

Is the $15 dollar for the sim card with activation? When I got my pro they put a AT&T sim in and took out the apple sim.
