I have been searching and searching the web and forums for the Official Wallpapers that are on the iPad because with iOS 4.2 beta 3, Apple removed some of my favorites. So rather than keep looking, I decided to downgrade my iPad back to iOS 3.2.2 and I extracted all of the original wallpapers that shipped with the iPad back in April (no jailbreak required, just a back-up extractor).

Just incase others have searched, I thought I would be nice and share. Currently on beta 3 I can not extract the new wallpapers (they are not stored in the same place of the back-ups as in iOS 3.2), but as soon as I figure it out, I will post them here.

Here is my contribution as a Giants fan and iPad user...

4.2 and folders is going to really change the kind of backgrounds I use on my iPad.

You always used to need fairly flat and muted designs in order to deal with the array of icons covering the screen, but now I find that my (fewer) screens are dominated by a handful of folder icons across the top half to third of the screen, and so it's possible to have detail and interest in an image along the lower half.
